Nestled in the heart of the Short North, Bristol Republic is a locally owned, Nashville inspired bar and restaurant serving up competition quality BBQ smoked in-house daily, ice cold craft beer, over 150 rare Bourbon and Whiskeys from well-known and independent distilleries across the country and live music (Friday & Saturday)!                                                                                 Went for a Sunday brunch and things were okay except our waiter was quite a letdown. He didn’t bring any plates after we ordered an appetizer which was weird until the server who dropped off the shareable immediately came back with small plates. While ordering the main entrees I was surprised when the waiter asked how I liked my eggs cooked for an eggs Benedict. Apparently “poached” isn’t possible which I find weird since it’s a signature piece of an eggs Benedict. Lastly, after some of us were done eating, and others were still munching (including myself), he proceeded to take away the shareable plates that still had a full serving of food on it. He didn’t even check if we wanted the full piece of bacon. The server proceeded to take away all the dishes and throw everything away. I’ve been here before and I enjoyed the food and atmosphere but this time I really felt like me and my party of 3 were a nuisance to our waiter. It’s been some years since my first visit but I was pretty disappointed in this last experience.

                                                                                Cute place, but we were there for dinner on Father's Day and they were out of so many of the main options. In fact, when they brought out 2 of our 3 meals they (only then) notified the 3rd person that they were out of their selection. It just didn't seem very well ran. Brisket was good. That's about it. Otherwise, it wasn't a great experience.

                                                                                Overall it wasn't a bad experience however with it being Father's day maybe that was the cause for them running out of greens and us never receiving one of the appetizers that we ordered.

                                                                                Father's Day brunch. Pretty expensive for the amount of meat on the buffet. Desserts all seemed premade. Food was ok. Some of it dried out due to being on steam table. They also added gratuity to our bill. 18%. Unusual for a buffet. Overall it was fine. But we drove an hour to get here and I wouldn't rush back.

Thanks Mitch for perfect service and the sweet Hostess? who was expecting our reservation. She also helped clear tables and check on our 9 top. The Brisket was exceptional as well as everything out of the kitchen. Well run establishment. We were very pleased and will return!

                                                                                We went there for Mother’s Day brunch and I am usually hesitant to go to buffets but this one was great. Food was fresh and good variety. Service clearing plates and refilling drinks was outstanding.

                                                                                Best Brunch we’ve had in Columbus since pre-2020. Decently priced, and not overcrowded. Not sure if that’s how Bristol wanted the Mother’s Day experience to be, but it made Mother’s Day that much more enjoyable. Everyone loved everything except the biscuits n gravy. Gravy wasn’t awful, but maybe an acquired taste. Ribs, pulled pork, bacon French toast, waffles stole the show. Fruit was ripe. Service was top notch. No drinks ever made it below halfway point. Plates were cleared immediately. Can’t wait to try the dinner menu soon.
