We very much enjoyed our Sunday lunch - the best roast beef we've had for years! The service was excellent as was the general atmosphere. Thanks.

Visited for a lunch time meal and picked from the a la carte menu. Each course was cooked perfectly and beautifully presented. Pace of delivery was just right and the artisan breads with oil and balsamic were excellent. Nice range of wines and the 'house' wines by the glass are good. Service, though, could be a bit more precise. They forgot the 25% discount offer and no one at front desk to find our coats as we left. But minor points; overall ambience and quality of food were great value for money.

Belonging to the IWFS, the International Wine and Food Society, we dine at acclaimed London restaurants. Our recent dining experience at Le Bouchon was certainly worthy of a Micheline rosette. An amuse bouche with the starter drinks would be welcome addition. Many meals fall down on the dessert but that was first rate too.

Early dinner on Saturday evening and we elected for the tasting menu with matching wines. The service was very slow in places, and more disappointingly the food was very ordinary. Matching wines were good, though arrive in a haphazard fashion. We dined at Le Bouchon six months ago (again tasting menu) and was impressed. Needs improvement.

Ok meal but my wife’s starter was missing an element.for which we were credited the bread basket. My Moules were ok but distinctly on the chilly side and were rather chewy. Probably had been kept warm too long.
Mains ok but very small portion of cod for the cost. They were serving pheasant which must be from frozen because it wasn’t in season!
Didn’t bother with pudding .
An ok meal but nothing to get excited about.

First time that I had visited Le Bouchon for Sunday dinner. The food as always was delicious. I had the mackerel followed by the roast pork and cheese. The children menus were just great too.

It was a shame that there was no magician but we made our own entertainment with the help of the very nice Rioja!

Only negative was that we were not able to utilise the 25% off food for the adults.

Visited for my wife's birthday along with our two children (5 & 8). Children were very happy with their menu and ate garlic bread for starter burger/pasta for main followed by ice cream/Eton mess. Between us we had Mackerel, pigeon, duck and chicken and all was cooked to perfection. Sides included triple fried chips which were huge! Good gin menu, cocktails (including non-alcoholic) and long wine list. Service could not have been better and even the children were referred to as "Sir" and "Madame" which made them feel all grown up. Cost was what you expect for this type of dining. We paid £160 for our 3 course meal which included kids drinks, a couple of gin's and couple of non-alcoholic cocktails (no wine). Live singer was very talented both vocally and on keyboard and was perfect for the venue and added to the evening. This is the first time we have been but I don't know why and will definitely return in the future.

Choice of going straight to our table or bar for a drink first. Chose to go to bar where we were entertained by Sacha a very clever magician. Menu bought to us where we made our choices. Shown to a table with lovely flowers. Delicious meal, I had Roast beef my wife chose chicken. We also had very nice starters and desserts where the chef had piped 'Happy Anniversary' on our plates. A very nice touch. Excellent service too. A very nice Sunday lunch and afternoon.

The restaurant and bar are beautifully decorated and a very nice place to eat and drink. I’m vegetarian and the choice selection is really poor. The starter of tomato and cheese was lovely. But the pasta dish for main was tasteless and very disappointing. Why pickle garlic it just tasted of pickle. It needs a sauce to go with the pasta and also you need to offer a larger choice. Also your deserts were very avarage, looked amazing but didn’t not follow through with taste. It’s a shame because the place is lovely.

We went to La Bouchon for Sunday Lunch. The serving staff were very friendly and welcoming, the speed of service was just right and the meals were well presented and tasty. Our table was very pleasant and the whole ambience and layout of the restaurant ‘gemutlich’ - very comfortable with a nice atmosphere.
We had an extra serving of ‘three vegatables’ to accompany our lunch - bit disappointed that one of the vegatables was potatoes.
Not sure about the magician - didn’t think he added to the occasion.

Fabulous restaurant, food and service excellent. Great bar for a pre drink, extensive wine list for the connoisseur.
Was hoping for a picturesque location but alas not, great historic building but the sister restaurant Le Benaix beats it if you are looking to have the option of sitting outside on a nice day.
That said we would return to either of the restaurants.

Went to Le Bouchon to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary. Not the first time we've been, and I'd class each time as excellent. Well, this visit topped our previous experiences although I wouldn't have thought it possible. The food was spectacular, the service extraordinary. It made our day very special.
