    I had a great time celebrating my birthday at 1933! The staff were warm and welcoming and really took care of us! I truly appreciate the signed birthday card they had at the table for me and the dessert! Thank you!

    Food service is disappointing! No way to compare to St Elmo downtown location, last time we had dinner there. The only reason we choose this one because close to home. The appetizer jumbo shrimp came out without see the shrimp, we thought they forgot shrimp, just saw ugly pile of shrimp sauce! So unappetizing 🤮. The calamari tasteless, either refried or the batter is wrong. Then waited over an hour, finished 1st and 2nd drink? The dinner finally came. The steak is dry, with seem left over mash potatoes... I would rather go to regular north side steak house get much better dinner. The waitress was apologetic, give few free desserts.. . but I think I would be back for a long long time. Such a shame for the brand name!

    Ordered the shrimp, looking forward to enjoying the famous St. Elmo’s cocktail sauce. Something has changed, not the firy taste that opens your nostrils! The creamed spinach lacked favor. My husband’s ribeye was extremely fatty. Waited a long while for our drinks. Our waitress was great, very attentive and a good personality. We dined on the patio, the weather and ambience was good. The meals are pricey, we feel that the good quality was not the same as in the past.

    My prime rib came out seared on both sides, so I basically got a ribeye steak and not prime rib. My baked potato was undercooked. Our appetizers were great! We got the slab bacon and meatball. Highly recommend both. If I go back, it will just be for drinks and appetizers.

    Beautiful decor. To start with the positives. Seated immediately gracious hostess, our waiter was superb, and cook gracious and talented. We ordered artichokes which were delicious as the macaroni and cheese. I veered off the path and went with seafood and fish which was a mistake. My dining companion got a grouper sandwich which was cooked perfectly however the fish tasted slightly off to me. I got crab grilled cheese and the crab tasted really strong iykyk. Waiter checked on is immediately and offered to remake sandwich which they did and it was good I just think their fish and crab could be fresher. I got a wedge salad which was ok but something tasted slightly off. I could not clarify what though. Idk if it was premade and sat in a fridge. Idk not bad but something tasted slightly off. Anyhow. Few crumbs in seat when we sat middle of table was sticky. Minor things I know but when a restaurant is more pricey my standards go up. Ok but seemed not as on it as when I dined at downtown St Elmos decades ago but hey times changed. I just remember everything there being above perfect and this was ok. Great servers though and everything non fish and non salad was great.

    It was a wonderful experience. The food was wonderful and full of flavor. Service was excellent and they were very attentive to our every need. They made my birthday celebration extra special with the Estrada that provided.
