It was a very delightful experience, staff were super nice and polite. Food was excellent, highly recommend their signature half bird fried chicken. Even brought out a complimentary cake slice with sparklers and a lovely birthday card from staff. Will definitely be coming back with family soon.

I booked this restaurant, sight unseen, for a small after wedding brunch—that grew! Our server was amazing, completely unflappable as our friends came and left. It’s a beautiful restaurant, great food, and incredible service. Definitely we will return and wholeheartedly recommend.

I have gotten the short rib twice now and it is incredible! I would note that it is a smaller portion of meat but so delicious. If you are looking for a big serving I would go with the chicken & waffles or Nashville hot chicken. My aunt had the Nashville hot chicken and it was definitely spicy but very tasty.

We had a reservation for outside seating. People behind us didn’t. Yet, we were seated in the sun even after asking about shade and people behind us were seated in the shade (hostess seemed overly friendly with them). Service was sporadic. Drink (Turmeric based) non-alcoholic at 12 bucks was pricey. Food arrived without maple syrup for which there was more waiting. So, while the ambience was terrific and we enjoyed sitting and talking -we were baking in the sun and felt unfair in how the seating worked out for a pricey meal.

The Nashville Hot chicken had a great flavor and the perfect amount of kick and came with a good amount of chicken. The bourbon glazed short rib was savory and filling. For sides we ordered the corn bread, southern street corn and Mac and cheese. All of our dishes were delicious and with a good southern touch.
