Tap Room (First Floor): Reservations are available only during lunch hours and on Monday evenings. This space operates on a walk-in only basis outside of those times. Service is via QR code, offering Chinese street food-inspired dishes and a rotating selection of local draft beers. Please note: There is a 90-minute dining limit.

Tea Room (Second Floor): A more traditional yet lively dining experience with a curated menu, extensive tea selection, wine list, and a tea centric cocktail program. The ambiance is designed for a fun, social experience, featuring a DJ on Friday & Saturdays for an upbeat atmosphere.

Dump Em Out | Bottomless soup dumplings, every Tuesday night in the Tea Room. $30 a person gets all the soup dumplings you can handle, plus the dumpling of the month, which changes whenever the kitchen gets an idea and never comes back the same way twice. You sit down; the baskets keep coming; you stop when you are done. Most people are wrong about when that is. Bring someone competitive. 05:00 PM - 10:00 PM Every Tuesday in our upstairs "Tea Room" from 5 pm-10 pm . Only valid for groups of fewer than 6 people. No sharing. No substitutions. $30 per person.

Do not go here if you want to converse with your date. The DJ plays music at an ear shattering volume. This is not energetic, this is obnoxious noise. The lights are so low that my partner mistakenly ate jalepeno peppers, which he is highly sensitive to. (We told our waitress that he cannot have spicy food). We couldn't wait to get out of this restaurant/disco.

This place is cool. We tried several dishes and not one of them was bad. Definitely liked the Bring on the Pig dumplings best. If only some of the plates had 2 or 3 pieces, we could have tried even more. I guess we will have to go back.

I think this place gets louder each time we come and the 20-30 min to get drinks with a mocktail coming 5-10 min after sake and a glass of wine seems excessive. Service can become a bit crazed and meals take a bit of time to get out. $30-40 fried rice seems a bit much but the portions were decent and fresh

Our first experience at Bao was fantastic! From the amazing waiter to the delicious food, we had a great meal before heading to the theater. We tried five different dim sum dishes, and had a hard time deciding, which one was our favorite. We will be back to taste more of the menu.

This is probably our 7th/8th time to Bao. I’m not sure what was going on last night, but all of our food was cold or lukewarm. Four times, the wrong food was brought to our table, and we didn’t end up getting some of the food we ordered. We just asked for that to be taken off the bill. Pretty bummed about this experience because all the times prior it was great.
