   We went for Houston Restaurant Week (HWR) which had been extended to the end of September. When we asked for the HRW menu we were told HRW had ended even though their web page indicated they were still participating. The restaurant is very small and was very noisy. We waited about 15 minutes before we received a menu. The noise level was so high we had to yell our order. The server brought the wrong wine flight because he couldn’t hear me. Nonetheless, the wine he brought was good. The Herb Roasted Salmon some of the best I’ve had. I would highly recommend it. My wife has the steak and she felt the same way. Outstanding food. We had the Crème Brûlée for dessert and it too was great. I ordered coffee with desert. After receiving and finishing the dessert, I still had not received the coffee so I cancelled the order. Great food, mediocre service, very noisy.

   This is an excellent place to try new wines at a very reasonable cost. You may go and try their samplers either white, reds or bubbles, or just the type or label or your preference. And the food is also very good, it is not the typical wine bar where you can only find charcuterie. Great food and an amazing variety of wines.

   Not a very lively place? As, so as sitting inside, was very quiet, no music for ambient atmosphere. Limited brunch menu….. probably won’t visit for brunch again unless at least”least” the menu perks up.

   The food was unexpectedly good. I had no prior experience with this restaurant, and I'm coming back for sure. Really liked all the 3 courses of the Restaurant Weeks menu they had, especially the Halibut, which was a delightful plate.

   Great food and excellent service. We had a couple of warm beers to start but they put the rest on ice for us and all was good. The scallops and salmon were cooked to perfection. Staff was very attentive and our meal came quickly after ordering.

   Cru is a great wine bar. We went for Houston Restaurant Week and although the food was very good, I think they are used to smaller plates and just wine. A long time between courses (Which we normally like but this was excessive) and not overly educated on the menu and features. Still a great dinner and a really lively place right in the heart of the Woodlands Towne Center so great location. Just not sure I would plan on dinner there. Tapas and apps with wine are fantastic and what they do very well.

    Great place for a date or casual dinner. The service was excellent, and I want to give a special shoutout to our waiter from last night (I can't remember his name, sorry). We were hoping for cheese fondue, which is no longer on the menu, but he managed to get it for us—very attentive. My only complaint is the custom of bringing the check as soon as the waitress thinks you've finished. I suggest that restaurants always ask first or suggest ordering something else, like a dessert. Other than that, the service was great and the food was very good. Will definitely come back.
