   Disappointing and not up to its claimed reputation. I rarely post negative comments but honestly, Ruth must be rolling in her grave. A low end franchise it has become… I came alone for dinner, week day, early evening, sat at the bar. The male bar tender was almost ignoring me, borderline condescendant, his female colleagues were more attentive and helpful. It was a bit embarrassing hearing staff loud conversation about their job, management, etc. And doing the dishes right in front of me, isn’t there a backoffice kitchen?? Ok, I chose the bar, my bad… The place has high ceilings, quite noisy even though the main dinning room was not overly full. I chose a medium rare New York strip, 12 oz I think. With mashed potatoes. The wine list, by the glass and bottle was mediocre, while the red meat was quite expansive - especially considering what ultimately came on the table. Kind of strange to offer a list of mundane wines with expansive, supposedly high quality meats… I was not in any hurry but it seemed I had to wait quite some time while they were probably killing the cow… The steak came more rare than middle rare, but that’s ok. The meat was awfully chewy (this cow must have walked from Houston…), not much flavor. The mashed potatoes had nothing particularly special. The meat was served in a small ovale plate, not very engaging nor practical. At least the Manhattan cocktail was nice. The overall mediocre quality and ambiance simply does not justify the price, compared to other mid-to—high end steak houses. I can cook all of this myself, if not better at home.

   General manager stopped by table - awesome conversation and seemed extremely happy we choose to dine with him and he was very genuine. Waitress did an amazing job!

   Food was good was but good but my wife’s “medium rare” filet mignon was “rear” at best. I had a virgin piña colada and it was made with something other than Coco Lopez & pineapple juice—it was bittersweet more like a margarita. But the biggest problem was the noise—we couldn’t even carry on a simple conversation without almost yelling. It was expensive, but we knew that before we walked through the door. This will not be our favorite new restaurant.
