I’ve been coming to Kendal’s and its predecessor for decades. It really feels worn out. The food was adequate. The venue looks tired. Too many hard surfaces make the noise level high. This used to feel like a special occasion restaurant. Now it feels ordinary and frankly not that cool.

I haven’t been since they remodeled, it looks so fresh and bright now. the noise level was great because we were there early after the theater. Wish they had more sandwiches type things and not entrées for late/early dinners.

They have updated the menu and changed several of the dishes. I did not care for the change to the ahi appetizer. There was a large pile of fennel on top of maybe 5 slices of ahi, a 2:1 ratio that made it a fennel salad, not an ahi dish. It was also not appetizing to look at. On the positive side the steak frites, short rib, and bread plate were all delicious.

Kendall's Brasserie is very convenient to the Dorthy Chandler complex but, Ope Table's service is most unsatisfactory! It offered me only seating at 6:30 pm or later but, we wanted 6 pm. We arrived at 6 pm and the restaurant was almost empty and we were seated at our preferred table immediately.

All the waiters and waitresses are super nice and friendly and enjoy quick conversations with the patrons so glad they updated their menu. It was getting quite “ old” but the new menu has great options and the food was cooked very well. TY

Kendell's is still a great great eatery but the food quality is dropping off and the prices are rising. While still very good, it is sad to see a decline, m

Mostly a good experience, but the onion soup (always a great taste treat) has been getting less satisfying. Maybe the old recipe was lost?

I am so glad Kendall's is finally back with a brunch menu. This was our go to place when attending a Music Center event. Sadly the old menu was not appealing so we never returned after the theaters opened up. Now if what the employees say is correct, a new chef, new menus, then sign me up. Kendall's will once again be our go to place for Music Center events.
