M Restaurants take inspiration from six different continents around the world - South Africa, France, Australia, Japan, Argentina and the US - all famed for their outstanding food.

Curated by executive chef Mike Reid, each dish has a modern twist including prime steak cuts such as South African rib eye and firecracker sauce, cauliflower served with kale and a mini provolone empanada, as well as high grade Japanese pure Kobe fillet steak. The food menu is complemented by a stunning wine list which boasts over 120 wines by the glass.

We had a fantastic experience with the pre-theatre menu for my husband's 30th birthday. The staff went above and beyond from start to finish, were attentive without being overbearing, the food was fantastic and the atmosphere was lovely.

The food was wonderful and we had an excellent waiter who gave us attentive but discrete service. The Wagyu scotch egg is amazing as are the "thousand layer" chips. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.

Had high expectations as had visited before and thoroughly enjoyed it. This time opted for the pre theatre menu, food was bland and very unexciting, eg could not taste truffle in the pasta and the steak was served by its self on a plate, the pork belly very fatty and bot crispy at all. The service was poor and the area we were sitting in was no where near as nice as the main dining room. I had called up to confirm something would be done to celebrate the birthday however this was not noted. Overall I was very disappointed with the experience.

The best customer service we’ve received in a long time. So friendly, attentive and efficient with no long wait times. Great food, very affordable and most importantly they are dog friendly. Staff were so accommodating to our two Frenchies 🐶 thank you!

Be wary booking around Christmas time. The restaurant itself was booked for a Christmas party so they shove you on a table next to the bar. Which is loud and people stood up next to you… they don’t tell you any of this when you book. It’s just an unpleasant surprise they chose to reveal as you are taken to your table. Tried the pre-theatre menu. Bit of a feeling that because you’re on the pre theatre set menu you’re not as important as anybody else in the bar and restaurant. Nothing wrong with starters and mains but deserts are a bit of a joke. Brownie and Cheesecake are your only choices. Very evident that the only reason why is because they’re easily able to freeze and defrost them. The brownie is dry. As if it was cooked 5 days ago and it’s just been left on the side ever since. Probably wouldn’t return and wouldn’t recommend it to friends. Unless you work in private equity and deem yourself too important & cultured to drink/eat in one of the many pubs available around Victoria it’s probably not for you, during the week anyway. All this said, the waiter that served us was very attentive and I’ve got no complaints there.

The only other time I've been to 'M' in Victoria was years ago when it first opened. There's been a refurb since because I wouldn't have recognised the place - the layout has changed completely, and it's a bit empty-feeling which wasn't entirely down to the lack of customers for a Monday lunch. The menu is a meat-lover's paradise with lots of cuts of beef steak at, mostly, high prices. My friend had the chicken with a side of broccoli, and I had the gnocchi with a side salad. Both meals were fine - my friend enjoyed the chicken and we both cleared our plates. We chose non-alcoholic drinks, a cider and a lager, but no wine because of the prices. A glass of wine averages £16; prices vary between around £11 and £20. I had a coffee before my friend arrived, and our bill total was £80. The staff were lovely, if a little over-solicitous - perhaps because it wasn't very busy.
