This was a BIG, special celebration for my Aunt’s birthday. I wrote it on the reservation & told our server. (Not that it was ever acknowledged…) I spent time researching the right restaurant; we flew-in & my Aunt is an experienced foodie. Our table seating area was a wonderful side room. That said, for one of our most expensive dinners (it’s a high bar with other fabulous restaurants) the Server really deflated our experience. I got the feeling maybe his girlfriend broke-up with him or he lost a game; otherwise he’s just normally rude, short & annoyed at everything which I hate to believe. It began when my husband asked if he had any suggestions for our son. (He is 7 and very experienced with eating in nice restaurants.) The waiter said, Yeah he’d like the Australian wagyu Ribeye. — We waited for the punchline as this is $130 plate. That was it. He said it then walked off. Later I attempted again. (Usually a server has some suggestions of a smaller cut filet or the macncheese without the truffles; maybe the burger.) Do you have any suggestions for child? He says, no. I said, Could you possibly do a smaller filet or… And before I finish he cuts in to say, No we don’t. To start the meal I asked if he could tell us about the menu or what they’re known for because it was our first time. He says, Yeah of course I will be back to do that. (As if even the question was beneath him.) Later he READ the special off a board to our table and that was it. I ordered my steak & before I could add a side he moved on to the next person. I had to insert myself to finish my ordering. We had a good time with our family but it was not the dinner experience we had planned. The steak was good; the food was nice but our bill was over $1000 for 6 adults and a child’s lemonade. We each had two drinks. Randomly towards the end, the Waiter walks up, interrupts our conversation and says - Can you hand me that fry plate? As if we are going to pass it down the table to him! I’d like a do-over.

'Great menu, cocktail and wine selections - especially for foodies. The execution was outstanding and our server was very knowledgeable and gracious. One of our guests said it was the best meal he's had in the Metro. 'Great location for pre/post theater dates with several convenient parking options. 'Recommend in a heartbeat.

From start to finish our experience was incredible! The pork sausage with cheddar is not to be missed, the Brussels sprouts were delish, our long rib and scallops were incredible. Very creative cocktails menu was a perfect compliment. All around a great evening celebrating a birthday! We will be back.

Amazing flavors and the staff was extraordinary! Tables are a bit too close together in my opinion as you could easily hear other peoples conversations and they can hear yours.

This is my second time dining at this restaurant. If you are in Minneapolis, I would highly recommend this restaurant. Overall great experience. Staff is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. Food is great as well.
