Gusto (pronounced Goo-sto) means tasty in Italian. Since opening our doors in 2012, Gusto 101 has been serving up modern takes on Southern Italian classics. As with Trattoria Nervosa in Yorkville, Janet Zuccarini has meshed a passion for creating memorable food with a vision for delivering soulful, transporting dining experiences.

We put as much care and consideration into our food and drink as we do our architecture and design. Located in a repurposed garage in the heart of downtown Toronto, our restaurant has become a neighbourhood gathering place. Whether you’re craving the warmth of a wood-fired grill or a glass of wine on our rooftop patio, we do our best to merge the everyday with the exceptional.

    Service was spectacular, from the minute we walked in the door, to being seated and Tyrell was an absolutely awesome server! He made great food recommendations, wine suggestions and was spot on with everything!

    This was my 3rd time eating at Gusto 101 and it was a great experience, once again. Our waitress Carolina was very attentive, very professional and very pleasant. The four of us all enjoyed our meals and I expect there to be return visits.

    Really great food. Cocktail was very tasty. Got meatballs to share and for entrees, the mushroom pasta and parpadelle. Both entrees were excellent - no leftovers! They did take a long time to come out (the two tables beside us were seated are is and had their food well before us). Otherwise, very excellent experience. Would definitely recommend and return.

    The seat near door exit is windy & cold. They should not arrange any guest to seat there. We are disappointed to be arranged to seat there while I saw there are other available seats in the restaurant. Food is good, service is ok.

    My daughter had her birthday party at your restaurant, the food was amazing, everything was great except for at the end of the night when my husband went to pay the bill, the waiter let him know that the gratuity was included in the total, but then he said if u want to give me more tip feel free, that was very rude, my husband told him you just got 20% I think that’s plenty. His name was Tyler, maybe u should have a talk with him

    Very good food, excellent service. Lighting is a bit too dark to see menu well in evening. Had a great evening the mushroom pasta is highly recommended as well as the brussel sprouts.
