Mama Delia, located in Chicago's Wicker Park, is a modern Spanish restaurant and sherry bar offering a fresh take on what is happening in Spain today.

Mama Delia is a celebration of the authentic culture of Spain, today. Via our frequent trips to Spain each year, we are able to experience first-hand the cultural shifts this dynamic country undergoes and bring those flavors and culinary traditions back to Chicago.

Led by Chef Marcos Campos, our menus showcase the exquisite regional products of Spain with dishes that are ingredient-driven and nostalgic. Following Chef Marcos’ lead, desserts by Executive Pastry Chef Shannah Primiano combine classic Spanish sweet dishes with her more contemporary methods and intriguing ingredient pairings. The award-winning beverage team, led by industry vanguard Brian Sturgulewski, has built Mama Delia’s bar program around the inimitable versatility of sherry, not only as a world class wine but also as a cocktail ingredient without parallel.

I was expecting small portions, but a few of the dishes were very hit or miss with us. The staff was great. But the dishes were not worth the high prices.

Our server was absolutely fantastic. He remembered our names, gave thoughtful recommendations and made us feel at home. The food was excellent. The ambience was perfection as well.

Discovered when I got home that the remaining shrimp in the rice we took home wasn't cleaned properly, which was extremely disappointing and quite gross. It was a slower night and our server took quite a long time to note my friend's drink was empty. Space is lovely, really liked the host and the bartender, but won't be returning because of the food.

I really enjoyed the patio at this location! We came for happy hour but weren’t notified about it when originally ordering (they ran out of menus for it?). The waitress was very nice and charged my drink at the happy hour price anyway. They were out of both things I personally wanted to order as well. The food was pretty good, but I think they had an off day. Wouldn’t order the Caesar salad on the menu again. The happy hour burger was solid. Would like to go back when all items are available as I enjoyed the patio & environment.
