   Service was slow and even while writing down our order, server got it wrong... food was overcooked and fried food tasted of other foods. Inattentive server & dinner was not what was presented... can not and would not recommend.

   Although we did not attend the cabaret performance, we found the restaurant alone a very delightful experience. It’s a small, but varied menu and everything we tried was outstanding. Happy to recommend.

   Good food and experience. As with most restaurants in this area, service is not top priority for the staff.

   I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The food portions are small for what you pay for, the food is very average. Our server was terrible. The food runner was the one who ended up getting what we needed most of the time.

   Fantastic place, ornately decorated, great for birthday lunch. Chicken and beignets is 5/5. Overall good peaceful vibe away from the chaos of the market. I recommend the dressing room for brunch. Accessibility note: the entrance off post alley requires a flight of stairs to get to restaurant checkin.

    We chose this restaurant for Sunday brunch based off reviews and proximity to our accommodations. Unfortunately, we had a very negative experience.. We had a reservation for 2 and arrived on time. The hostess seemed to be unsure where to seat us but then said they had an "overflow room." They took us down to the theater room, which was large but only had one other couple. It was extremely quiet, not like the vibe of the dining room or patio. And then....they forgot about us. After 15 minutes of waiting, my friend went back to the dining room and asked for a waitress but also asked if we could be moved back to the dining room. She was told the dining room was still full so my friend asked for seats at the bar and the hostess said with a bother, "If you really want to." It was clear we were not welcome to do so. The waitress did come and comped us a round of drinks, which we appreciated and hoped it would mean the experience was looking up. However, while we sat in the God forsaken, practically empty, dead space, we watched two other groups of people be seated in our silence chamber and be promptly attended to, only to watch them get MOVED to the bright and lively dining room once there was availability!! Seriously! By this time our food had come so we just ate it to finish and get out of there. I ordered the breakfast bowl which was basically a pound of roasted potatoes mixed with peppers and onions with a single scrambled egg and a little red sauce on top. I did ask for no tomato, which they accommodated. Before we left, we asked for and spoke to the manager and told her basically what I just wrote above and she apologized and said she would look into it. So, who knows if she did or will. I told her we felt like we had been banished. SO, if you eat here, do not let them banish you to the theater room, unless that is where you want to be!
