   Our family had yet another wonderful dinner at Mastro’s this week celebrating a special occasion. The food was exceptional as usual. I could live off that Hamachi appetizer! My sea bass was incredible and everyone else loved their entrees. The dessert is always a highlight. OMG, the butter cake! Topping it all of was the exceptional service that we received from Alison. We have been regular customers for years and Alison has always been our requested server. She is so attentive and makes a point of remembering our preferences and likes. She even corrected my husband’s bourbon order! Always a wonderful time at Mastro’s. We can’t wait to go back

   Me and my wife love this restaurant chain, he have visited the location in downtown Houston and the one in the woodlands multiple times not just on especial occasions but on regular basis, we always like to try a new bottle off wine every time we visit even tho we are not wine experts we do love to learn and one thing we liked about mastros is that they have a staff that are very knowledgeable about wine so we normally ask for their recommendations base of the type of flavors we like, this last time we visited the staff member that was helping us with our wine selection seem to be more concerned about the price of the Bottle rather than recommending something based on flavor and smoothness of the wine in the past I have purchased bottles at this location that were over 500 dollars base on recommendations from the staff and both my wife and I have loved the wine. I felt like I was stereotyped when I notice everything he was showing us on the menu was under 60 dollars , it just seem weird to me that out of the hundreds of different wines you guys have all the options he gave us were under 60 dollars like we couldn’t afford anything more expensive I may be wrong but that’s how that gentleman made us feel. also this time was our anniversary and normally on special occasions they have given us or at least offered a dessert but not this time . This whole visit just felt different than any other time we have visited,

   Another spectacular on point meal. The lobster bisque is to die for and full of chunks of meats. Filets are always perfect and once again wonderfully waited on by Austin who elevates the experience.

   The location is great, ambiance was perfect, not too loud. Service staff was very professional, responsive and gracious (all of them, including the hostesses). The food choices were much more diverse than other steakhouses. And cutting up the wedge salad was a good idea. The filet had a fantastic taste and cooked perfectly. The sea bass smelled and tasted not so fresh and a little overcooked (disappointing). The smoked salmon with the cream was so much better than with cream cheese. And the salmon was smoked perfectly and had a very smooth taste. All the food was good. Everyone was happy.

   Wow, what an experience! Booked a reservation at Mastro's for my husbands bday, and it was fantastic! Not your mellow, stuffy steak house. Lively, energetic, fun - the musician was great. Definitely on the noisy side but that adds to the atmosphere if you're not old and stuffy, or want a quiet place. The food and service were excellent!

    Both steaks were over cooked, kitchen forgot compound butter, second drink did not come until after I finished my meal, busser took my wife’s plate before she was done and did not box up her left overs-I assumed they were thrown away. Anniversary (free ) was very dry. Justin was very pleasant and the place was beautiful
