   Honestly, as a hardcore foodie and having lived in larger cities much of my life... I AM PICKY when it comes to dining experiences. Bricco is my favourite restaurant in Edmonton. You can feel firsthand that all those who work there have a sincere passion for, and depth of knowledge of, food and drink. There is nothing on the menu that we've had - which is now most things - that has not be exceptional; with some truly outstanding dishes. It is worth asking the staff because they each have unique and worthy favorites . The cocktails are divine classics. The wine list is probably the best (top 3 for sure)/most interesting/value for price in the city. I have probably had one of the best wines in my life there. The staff are clear professionals at what they do, while still being relaxed and down to earth. Massive thanks and appreciation to all who run the place and work there... Your labour of Love is absolutely felt. Thank you for sharing your passion with us!

   Ryan our server was beyond excellent, he provided us the service that any server is supposed to provide. From what wine to pair with the food we were looking for, to how much food per serving, to the dessert recommendations. He came out at the time when we needed service and helped pack our food when asked to. Food was exceptionally, service was amazing. Ambiance was great for your anniversary. They also provided with extra once known about the anniversary which is another plus. I would recommend this place to anyone anniversary dinner.

   Bartender crafted up the best old-fashioned I have had to date. Friendly and great conversationalist. The dishes are on the smaller side, which is perfect for trying out a variety of their dishes.

   The food at Bar Brico has always phenomenal, and that fact remains. They did recently renovate and it’s changed a bit. We went for a birthday dinner and even though I made a request in the reservations app for a table, we were sat at the bar, which made it awkward to share and eat comfortably. The stools were extremely rigid and uncomfortable, and you are sat very close to the rest of the bar patrons. There was a group of two behind us that walked right in and sat at an empty table before even being greeted. Being at the bar meant flagging down someone for service, but it was as still relatively quick. It’s VERY loud in there now, but it’s the vibe they’re going for so it’s to be expected. There were minor frustrations, but the food is always good. I recommended calling to make a reservation if you want specifics.

   Would not recommend the tasting menu when it is available - this is not the restaurants specialty and not worth the price

   We love Bar Bricco! Was a little disappointed in the New Years service as it was too spread out with the menu and it felt like they over sold tickets as people were constantly waiting for tables, with it being so small and having people hover around you and your table waiting for theirs was not the intimate experience we are used to usually having. The timing of the plates were also too spread out and then when it came to the last plate it seemed like all the additional add ons that you're able to add at the beginning were just slammed into the last plate. Still love the place and food, just wished it was as smooth as it usually is there with the staff and food.
