Ricky is the owner of Los Agaves Napa. Look familiar? The past 20 years he has worked at some of the best restaurants in the Napa Valley including working as a cook at Tra Vigne, front of house at La Toque, and as a manager at Bistro Don Giovanni. He knows the importance of great service, quality, and consistency of food. With 20 years of restaurant experience and passion for his heritage he hopes to bring Napa a small taste of Mexico.

Went here for an early dinner before going to a concert. Our experience couldn't have been better. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. My husband especially liked the thick chips and flavorful salsa that was provided almost as soon as we sat down. The tortillas used for the tacos are the best I've ever tasted, warm and moist and the perfect consistency. All our food was very yummy.

Authentic and excellent food and service! And did I mention the margaritas? Had the skinny and it was wonderful!. Try the new octopus appetizer. Creative and yummy! Of course the Mole is always my favorite - original oaxacan recipe. servers are friendly and attentive. Like being part of the family!

Great food and cocktails! Inside is deafening. Outside is tolerable. It didn’t used to be ear drum splitting; not sure who thought that was a good decision.

Food cold or lukewarm. Took very long to get. Barria soggy Chips and salsa outstanding. Service nice but seemed overstretched. Noise level inside made it impossible to talk, bled into the outside where we sat.

This was my first time at Los Agaves and I can’t say enough about the food, the service and the vibe. I do believe it’s going to become my favorite restaurant in Napa! Rodolfo was amazing, as was the entire staff. Such good food and good energy. I highly recommend the quesabirrrias appetizer and the chile relleno.

The service was good, but I asked if the strawberry margarita was made with fresh strawberries and they told me yes, which was not the case. The carne asada was very tough and the tacos were nothing special, the tortilla chips were greasy. The tres leches dessert was not really good, it tasted good, but it was not tres leches.

We really looked forward to eating here after great recommendations from the sommelier at one of the wineries. Made reservations and were seated within 15 minutes of that reservation. Wanted to love this place; however, it took the server to 15 minutes just to even greet us. Then when food arrived one of the food runners said we had ordered two of the same item when I asked him to confirm we received the right dishes, he never showed back up. Food was just okay and service was not the best we’ve ever received.
