Ambience was good but food was really mid. Was fresh but no flavor. Service was okay but it took too long before we got our food.

We always enjoy dining at Sorellas. It’s a great local restaurant easily accessible off of Centre Street, away from the downtown core. Beautiful modern seating backdrop, warm and welcoming upon arrival, upscale quality food and good wine list. Service is high standard, friendly and accomodating. Relaxed and casual dining so one can enjoy both for week-day dinners as well as a special event meal.

I had heard they have good mocktails, ne was not disappointed. They re also great for gluten aware options. I had delicious calamari, Caesar salad, bolognese pasta and gelato, along with 2 mocktails, The atmosphere was lively, I would have preferred less thumping music. Hubby is hard of hearing, and the noise level was higher than these 60+ folks prefer. I will definitely return.

The service and food was Amazing! My only disappointment was the chair, it was uncomfortable. There was bench seating ,and plush tub chairs that looked amazing. Our chairs were hard and hard on our backs. I will go back but I will ask for different seating, for sure the bench or plush tub chairs. The chicken parmigiana, risotto with mushrooms and the bruschetta and focaccia were the best! Great wine selection as well. We had no room for dessert but like I say we will be back. Vanessa our server ,very friendly, attentive and was always making sure we were looked after. Karen Macneill

We've been looking for a proper Italian place for some time now and Sorella delivered. The food is outstanding and the service was great. I love the quiet in the restaurant so that everyone can enjoy their own conversations. I highly recommend the carbonara which is as traditional as you can get and the amazing risotto. Shout out to Emma for being an amazing server!

Three of us dined at Sorella, celebrating our friend's birthday. The hostess asked who's birthday it was and wished her a happy birthday. We were seated at the 'quietest table' they have, as requested, although I don't think any tables are particularly quiet - it is a happening place. The food was excellent - we had the meatballs, mussels, brussels sprouts, and the risotto. All were excellent, particularly the risotto. The server was attentive, watching when we needed water and drink refills. Overall, an excellent experience. This is one of our favorite restaurants in Calgary.
