   Our waiter was attentive and kind and went out of his way to ensure our best experience. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. We had a great experience!

   I took my team for a holiday lunch and the food was not good at all. "Warm bread" was cold and stale and the rest was mediocre at best. Of a group of 7 only 2 were satisfied with the apps and entrées. It was costly and abizmal holiday event which was expensive for what it was. I would never go back or recommend this restaurant to anyone.

   The restaurant was nice. We had great service. The entrees were great. We ordered the burrata for an appetizer. The menu said it came with crostini but instead it came with 3 skinny bread straws. Burrata needs to be spread on bread. This was not ideal. However, overall, we had a great time.

   This was our first visit to Cantina, and found it a wonderful dining experience. We were long-time customers of the original Toronto St. location, and were very happy to find so many delicious memories here. Even the Primitivo was there, and very much as remembered and enjoyed. The carbonara was the best I have had in a very long time. Only the noise level was a bit of a challenge, although this seems normal these days. We’ll be back!

   Beautiful environment with lovely food and drinks. The large windows gave us the ability to people watch. Very nice experience.

   Not impressed with the food. The pizza was an oversized pita with cheap ingredients - mozzarella was sub par. The carbonara dish had way tougher much pepper and the raw egg on top was cold. Keep your eggs out so they come to room temperature. We didn’t even have time to eat our appetizer and the mains were already served. Not impressed with the wait staff’s demeanour either. Never returning.

   From start to finish, my friends and I were impressed. The vibe was great, the food was amazing and the service was on point. My friends were from out of town and they couldn't stop raving about the food, apps and the tiramisu dessert. Our server was knowledgeable and always topping up our drinks. The location is ideal as well as it is close to all the major venues. I would highly recommend Cantina Mercatto.

   Very slow service, although a very busy night in the city. Portions are very small and pricey.

    This restaurant has an excellent service attitude and ambience for enjoying Italian food. All waiters are warm and friendly regarding their actions and job performance. They kindly ask for any inconveniences that need to be addressed, and in the meantime, they are also helpful in recommending dishes and desserts. I will definitely head there again in future downtown Toronto visits. One thing to mention is that the food size here might be a little too "averaged. " This is not surprising, but it can be supplemented by its fine ingredients, taste, and the advantage of being quickly served.
