Outstanding ! The food was great. We had oysters , tuna tartar, salmon tar tar, lobster-For appetizers Dinner was the veal chop , rib eye, filet and the wahoo special . Absolutely spectacular. Keep up the good work . The ambiance was warm and lively.

Arrived on time for 6:00 reservations. Ordered drinks, starters and entrees at same time. Received drinks and starters fairly quickly. Enjoyed these and started looking forward to the entrees, however, we did not get the rest of our food until 7:00. The waiter assured us twice during this time that our orders should be up shortly. It felt like a very long time to wait but the food was great when it did get to our table. First time this kind of delay happened at the restaurant and hope it’s last time.

The ambience in this restaurant is lovely. The beef carpaccio was excellent as was my crabcake. If looking for a quiet dinner place, this is not the place. Also, it’s on the more expensive side. Definitely a place for a special evening.

We live a short stroll from City Grill and enjoy having it in our neighborhood. Last night my husband and I walked over and had an incredible meal. The octopus is one of our favorites so we started with it. Of course, I had the most scrumptious gin ginger martini. My husband adored his scallops and I savored every bite of my Caesar salad. I ordered two of the appetizer scallops to have with my salad and I adored every bite! I wish I had saved room for dessert! City Grill is a treasure!

Our server was great. Unfortunately, my husband and I were seated directly behind a party of very Vocal people (seemed like a business dinner). I couldn’t hear what our server was saying without asking her to repeat herself. We started out with the salmon tartare-amazing! Oysters from BC, awesome! My husband ordered the recommended feature, triple tail fish entree, his fish which was presented with a very heavy sauce, over taking the delicate fish. I had the fruitti di mare, which was nicely done, less shrimp more other seafood would have been better. Sadly, it’s sometimes out of our hands, but would have enjoyed the experience much more if I was being blown away by the sheer volume of noise from the party overtaking the room.
