Curry portion were very small for 13£
Smelly dirty toilet
Great food, fair price, great staff. We weren't ideal customers, dribbling in at various times and messing up our orders and the staff were great with everything. Food good as always. Been here many times and will continue to do so.
Great place for a group. Lively, nice food, and relatively good value for central London.
Food is average but fine and the card machine didn’t work so we had to walk to a cash point to pay . Had to flag staff down any tome we wanted drinks. Ambience great though so OK for an informal, quick bite
Really pleasant and more authentic than wagamamas. Decent service and tasty food. Yum
The only downside to the whole experience was the fact that they only had one waitress in the entire place for some reason. Maybe they expected a lull...
I LOVE THIS PLACE
I go there at least 1 -2 a month.
Good food, fun vibe - I'll be back! Especially liked the deep fried spring rolls as a starter.
Booked a table and when we arrived there was hardly any diners yet when we request to sit at a different table that was declined. The lady serving us seem bored and dissinterested and service was very slow from her. Still waiting to be served after 15mins found the waitress was sat down having a drink. Had to call for service a few times at our table. Over charged for happy hour. No WiFi connection at our table and was very cold. Food was bland and not a generous portion at all. Over rated place with need of improvement.
The quality and taste of the food is poor, and it is not that cheap. Good for happy hour cocktails only. Very friendly staff and interesting street-food decoration.
Lovely meal overall, but definitely wouldn’t recommend the Massaman curry. New Potatoes with their skins on and barely cooked, only 3 pieces of chicken and more sauce than anything else.
Fun atmosphere replicating atmosphere when in asia
Really enjoyed the food at East Street and will be back again.
This place is quite a find - close to Soho, good quality oriental food and not totally packed.
However, the service is haphazard. We struggled to get our waitress' attention, and then she only brought 1 out 3 starters. 20 minutes later we got hold of another waitress who had to reorder the other starters. But overall, the food was pretty decent.
Service was really bad. There were only 3 servers in the restaurant during peak hour for lunch. Was seated table at the back of the restaurant and server couldn’t even see us. Difficult to place order or call for assistance.
Ordered Thai (drip) iced coffee, served as a powdered coffee instead which was bland. Rice was hard.
Great food but the service was quite slow. Overall had a great catch up with old friends though! Much cheaper if you’re not drinking.
I've only been in London for a month and I've been here three times.
Great food, won't break the bank.
The food was amazing, we ordered their recommended favourites & I see why they are recommended. Cocktails are sooo yummy too! The ambience was nice & relaxed and we didn’t feel like we were in London with the decor. Can’t wait to go back & try something else off the menu!
Came here Pre-theatre, it was very quick just like an actual street market, it was also 241 drinks which was even better. The food was nice and so damn filing, definitely worth the price!
I would highly recommend this to all my friends and family, or even just for experience.
This was a meal to celebrate my birthday. The venue is fun with interesting decor, the food has an oriental twist which we all enjoyed though the seats were a little hard. A nice change of scene.
Great place can’t believe I hadn’t found it before! Good selection on the meals, good food and happy hour to go with before 7! Staff were good too.
Awesome Place in the middle of the touristy London! Great value for money!
I usually love East Street (I went there the night before I got married with 15 friends and family), unfortunately on Saturday night they weren't up to their usual standard.
Service was painfully slow and inattentive. We had no cutlery or napkins on our table for both courses and I had to gather some myself for my table.
I'm sure this is just a one off as the food and service are usually fantastic
East Street was a real find - good food (which exceeded expectations), super-friendly service and great value. It is also extremely child-friendly, which is a real bonus (great list of mocktails, nice attitude from staff and children can have any main course sized down). We particularly loved the pork belly starter but the prawn tempura was very good too. Great for a family pre-show meal - we will definitely be back.
Met up with a friend and really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Very attentive and helpful service.
Great dining experience as always, staff very welcoming and attentive, menu full of great choices and for a good price.
We had a good lunch here. Great value for money. The spring rolls were particularly good. Unfortunately 2 of the 4 mussels in our laksa failed to open and were served that way. Would definitely visit again though.
A great venue for an informal business meal or with friends - good food, good value and good service
East Street is a good place to get together with a few friends. I did not think it was great place for a date. The food is good. Unfortunately, for some reason we did not get good service where we were sat -- not sure if any of the staff were assigned to our table -- we had to keep flagging staff down in order to get service.
Enjoyed our special event at the restaurant and the service was attentive.
Good Asian restaurant. Menu had lots of Asian food from various countries - Thailand, Singapore, Japan, Vietnam etc. The quality of the food was ok, not great. But I guess that happens when you don't specialise in one country's cuisine. Venue itself is fun and colourful, quite noisy and vibrant. Nice staff.
Service was great! Fantastic team of individuals.
Food was good with generous portions.
Churros were a little undercooked but the cinnamon ice cream was delicious.
They sell various of Asian foods and drinks. Tiger beer from Singapore is sold there and the ambience is rather nice (Asian-like).
However, as an Asian myself, the food is not really up-to-standard (we ordered Nasi Goreng and Phad Thai). It's simply not authentic enough, although I understand it's an uphill task for the chefs to replicate the authentic Asian tastes.
Good service. Fun atmosphere. Ok food - appetizers were good, entrees were fair.
Fun if a little noisy. Friendly helpful staff. Food good and pretty good portions
First time diner, enjoyed the food, great value for money, really nice service and staff. Definitely would recommend.
We were a group of 8 and was a great venue. Pretty colourful and vibrant with great staff. Pretty tasty food, good menu. Nothing crazy special but in the world of Wagamamas and Busaba Thai. Did a solid.
Great tasting food, excellent service and very good value!
A cool setting. Food was pretty good but the summer rolls were a little hard. Overall a good experience though.
Really wanted to love it but pretty average, food wasdissapointingly bland.
