They were behind and we arrived before our reservation time, so we had to wait a long time to get seated. I guess it's better to be late to your reservation and you'll get seated quicker than those that get there early. The food was ok, the best thing we had was the salad. The turkey was salty and the desserts just plain bad. The service consistently missed steps like leaving us without silverware a few times. Overall not worth it

We went for Thanksgiving dinner. The wait was a little long to get our reservation. The food was also limited to a few items , but everything thing we tried was really good. Would definitely go back.

We just had the best Thanksgiving dinner at Church & Union! They were super busy but the host maintained his composure & was so nice. It feels trendy & upbeat there. We were sat downstairs which was super cool! Our server Miles took such good care of us. He made the effort to connect with us. The food was delicious! We were stuffed! We look forward to coming back on a non holiday!

Our first time and Church and Union was Thanksgiving Day for the prix fixe meal. The sweet potato soup was thick and tasteful. The main course of turkey (large portion), green beans, mashed potatoes and dressing was all well prepared and presented. The pumpkin tart was v very good b ut the adorning chocolates were a bit much. Service was cromulent at best, but we ate late afternoon on a very busy day.

I’ve had a hard time trying to find the fairest way to review this restaurant. On the one hand it’s commendable that they were offering Denverites a Thanksgiving dinner option. On the other hand it was so crowded and chaotic that we never got to dinner. We arrived at 5 pm for our dinner and were told it would be 10 - 15 minutes. People packed in every which way. After waiting 20 I found 2 seats at the bar where my wife muscled a bartender to make us a couple cocktails. No mention of dinner ever occurred and it was clear the bar staff were in no position to deal with it anyway. Another 40 - 45 minutes passed and we decided that even if we did put in an order it would take the rest of the evening. So we left.

Going out for Thanksgiving dinner is always something of a risk. It was our first visit. Whilst the Church and Union was very busy, the food was good and the service was excellent. It is a new restaurant nicely done out. Would we go again? Yes we would!
