What a terrible experience with your staff. It was like night and day from the first time I visited. It seems I was greeted by a narcissist- a lot of blame shifting (to the customer) inability to effectively communicate and perhaps a power trip? Talk about ruining a good time. Shame on you Mrs Ps. Maybe get on the same page with you staff before taking reservations for large parties. You tried to ruin my big day! Never Returning.

I was pleased with the service. The waitress Kriss was nice and professional. The food was disappointing. I went for the small plates (based on the online menu), but the website is not updated. The dinner menu is limited. The wings were small and the beef tasted pre-frozen.

Service was bad. Really bad. We were the only people in the restaurant and still our food took a long time. And half the food came and then after a long wait the other half came. And the gratuity came automatically added to the bill for a party of two. No choice about how to tip. Eat somewhere else. So many other choices in the area.

Overpriced basic food, the ambience and setting is beautiful and when you walk in you see what could be phenomenal restaurant. But that’s where the wonder stops, service meets basic needs nothing more, food was adequate at best, online menu doesn’t match the current menu, one of my guest got the chicken sandwich and it looked as though a nice bun with a very small piece of Cisco frozen chicken breast, although I will say that the cocktails were the best thing we experienced outside of the ambience. This place has all the potential to bring in the clientele but if it keeps up like this…it will surprise me if it last can’t length of time.

We made a brunch reservation to scout out the place for a potential event and room block next year. Atl was in the middle of its water issues, which temporarily closed other restaurants, so we called while en route to make sure they were open. The gentleman who answered the phone seemed annoyed by my question, condescendingly explained how boil water notices work and then hung up on me. We did eat there, after some debate given the customer service issues already. The restaurant was pretty empty and the DJ’s music was very loud. Our server was phenomenal and the food was good. It took a long time for it to come, but the server and manager both apologized sincerely. I will note the food was a bit overpriced. I love the location and the history of this place, so I hope they work through the issues

The menu was changed to a small plate menu. We ordered several things ranging from lobster Mac and cheese (topped with a crab claw?) to ribs that were tough and needed encouragement to fall off the bone. Other dishes included the truffle fries, which were dry and too crispy, and salmon which was dense and a little fishy. The glazes on the fish and ribs were great, but the underlying protein underwhelming. Finally a cocktail to help, Mrs P’s Old Fashioned, which I had before, but this time it was inconsistent and whiskey forward where the bitters did not shine through. Beautiful interior, chill ambiance of the hotel crowd, decent service, but bad food.

This was our first time there and it was empty when we arrived this made us very hesitant but we decided to stay. We didn’t know it was part of a hotel we made the reservation online but we stayed. The food was amazing and the service was even better, I forgot the young man’s( African American slender male) name but he was very knowledgeable about the menu and his customer service was great it really made our time there enjoyable.
