Located in Dallas’ newly-minted East Quarter neighborhood,
National Anthem will feature a variety of riffs on classic new
American. The space yearns for food that touches vintage but with a modern approach. You can
expect elements of both coasts with a straight-forward Texas sensitivity, hopefully capturing the
vibes of a big-city, downtown dining room.

National Anthem is housed within the Magnolia Oil building located at the intersection of Commerce
Street, Jackson Street, and Cesar Chavez Boulevard. The building was originally built in 1920 by the
Magnolia Petroleum Company, later renamed Mobil Oil.

Fun Facts:
• The triangular architechture of the building is known as a “flatiron” design.
• The angles of the trianglular shape of Town Hearth and the Magnolia Oil Building are within 2
degrees of one another.
• From the rooftop patio, customers will have clean sight lines of Downtown, Uptown, Deep Ellum,
and the Farmer’s Market.

    We love National Anthem and went to celebrate my daughter's 18th birthday. They completely spoiled us all with complimentary appetizers and desserts. Everything was delicious, the service was great, and we rolled ourselves out.

    My wife and I routinely stop at National Anthem after doctor’s visits at UT Southwestern, and ever since our first visit we have been consistently WOW-ed and, indeed, almost over-satisfied with excellent portions of delicious elevated traditional American and New Southern cuisine from exquisite deviled eggs to a truly masterful chicken cordon bleu sandwich that eats like a proper supper. The bar menu is likewise impeccable, and the rotating surprises of a sizable collection of truly enormous and hearty sandwiches and large plates will have you coming back for lunch and dinner!     Soggy egg rolls, dry meat balls. Ordered sandwich DJ, had to be returned. Truly was inedible. Got Caesar salad with steak added, ok at the most. We really enjoyed this place previously and not so much any more. Employees are not professional, dry, and careless. Love Flavorhook restaurants, but this one is now a bust.

    For a Wednesday night, I was disappointed with the level of service. The place was not very busy, yeat at every turn, the service was just out of sync and a step below good service. Folks were not rude or anything, they just weren’t attentive and seemed very in the weeds when they shouldn’t be.

    We love this place and all their other concepts. This is in our regular rotation and we love bringing new diners to you! Our server Adrian? Ariana? (I stink with names) we have had before and she is AWESOME! Solid drinks, food and well-priced wine menu. This trip we tried a "special" appetizer of calamari....fantastic! Cooked perfectly. Fish and chips were really good; thanks for the malt vinegar! See you again soon!

    Get the steak frites! That sauce is amazing! Besides that drinks and service are always good. It’s nice because this spot is good but not too well known so perfect for last minute reservation
