It was a phenomenal experience with carefully-crafted artisanal dishes made out of numerous seafood and Wagyu. There are thoughts putting into each dish with a balance of taste and color. My favorite one has to be the Laotian dish with grilled white fish and long-grain sticky rice. The fish was grilled to perfection with slightly-charred aromatic seasoning on the outside and delicately flaky meat on the inside. When paired with rice, it was simply one of the best bites one can have

The staff were excellent. The fish, when I could taste it, was delicious. The prices were were high, but that's expected for omakase in Denver. I do not wish to feel rushed at dinner. Especially for omakase. I should not be eating and savouring a bite and another is presented in front of me at that same moment. My partner felt the same and based upon the faces of the other patrons, we all felt likewise. I appreciate the Lao infusion, but too much lemongrass will overpower a delicious and nuanced fish. Cute alleyway entrance. Great alcohol selection. Great staff. A nice copy of other similar places I've been to in Japan and NYC. All undercut by rushing (slow down and let me enjoy what's being presented) and overpowering sauces.

Truly extraordinary gastronomical experience. Visiting from CA and love sushi. This was one of our best meals ever. Unique fusion of sushi and SE Asian flavors was amazing. Could not recommend any more, and I am a big time sushi snob. Bravo!

We had a great time! We’ve had some really good meals in our time, and Ukiyo was beyond memorable. As lovers of Japanese food, the Laotian twists were a very lovely surprise, with some very tasty and satisfying flavours in almost all the bites! The fish was well prepared and fresh, the micro herbs were perfect, and Jeremiah’s drinks knowledge and passion for creative bartending was a great compliment to Paul and Ethan’s vision. A great birthday meal for me!

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Food, service, atmosphere - from the entry in an alley (a fun touch) to the final course (a whimsical dessert) it was a special night. It’s not a cheap night out, but it’s one that you will remember forever.
