From Chef Srijith Gopinathan and restaurateur Ayesha Thapar, the creators of Ettan, Copra and Little Blue Door, Eylan offers seasonally-driven Cal-Indian cuisine centered around a wood-fired grill, with thoughtfully sourced produce and a variety of proteins cooked over the embers and served alongside clever riffs on traditional breads from different regions of India. The bar program by West-Bev and Christopher Longoria draws upon the kaleidoscope of ingredients and techniques that make up global cocktail culture, while also taking inspiration from the culinary traditions of India. Wine director Andre Sydnor's program offers depth in classic regions like Burgundy, Champagne, Piedmont, and California, offering a variety of options for casual wine lovers while including more exclusive selections for serious oenophiles.

Great decor and ambience. The kebabs are outstanding but corkage was too high $65. Would be back again.

I had a truly delightful experience today! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by the most polite and gracious hosts. I had initially owed them an apology for my first comment about their new opening, but they handled it with such calmness and appreciation. Our dining experience was exceptional. We were escorted to our table, where our server, Suzanna, provided outstanding service. She was incredibly warm, always smiling, and gave us excellent vegetarian recommendations. Every dish she suggested was a hit! We absolutely loved the buttermilk pani puri, BBQ mushrooms, and the flavorful cabbage dish served with romali roti. I only wish they had jackfruit biryani on the menu for vegetarians! Beyond the food, the restaurant itself was impeccably clean and elegantly designed. It’s a perfect spot for a refined and enjoyable dining experience.

Good food. Not very spicy versus Copra. However, there is a limit to how much one should charge for tiny serving sizes. Serving size here is 1/2 to 1/3rd vs Yellow Chilli. So, for comparative reasons, double the prices on menu. With 33% incremental in tax and 20% tip: - $25 for Bazaar Poloma was definitely not worth it. I would even say none of the cocktails looked interesting but had to try one. - 2 papdi's for $21, or around $11 for each tiny Taro Root papdi was nothing special vs dahi puri chaat at any regular indian spot. But again, it looked familiar and comfortable so ordered. $42 for 4 papdi's! Never again. - Crispy Chicken - excellent but exact same recipe from Copra - just less spicy and half the serving size. - Cornish hen - was just okay but for $41 is a complete ripoff. Considering the serving size, thats around $80 for a below average butter chicken! Really? Will not order again. My kids did not like this dish and they generally love such butter chicken dishes. - Saag was good and my wife liked it. But again, $37 for it or $74 with comparable serving size is complete ripoff. - Naans- the theme continues. Around 1/4th size of typical naans for $5 each and very chewy. But ~$20 for each naan makes no sense. - milk cake ice cream was good but again $16 for it makes no sense. I think either fame has gotten in Sri's head or he is smoking something when setting prices. Why not make it $150 per person 5 course meal then at least customers will come with right attitude. The deal breaker was the noise level and lack of planning in making the restaurant. Its a super loud restaurant so they raise the music even more. The servers were explaining dishes but we could hear anything! Tables are quite small for the large plates with the small serving size. Again, no planning. Lastly, when you go to the restroom, on the way back you have to "pull" 3 doors. Hygenic? After the hype is done, I am sure this place will shut down. I will give it couple of years, at most.

Servers were attentive, polite, and great at explaining each dish during the Valentine’s Day tasting. The food itself was exquisite, each dish being unique in flavor and texture. I enjoyed the various dishes inspired by different cuisines - Japanese, and Thai. The proportions were perfect, the pace at which food came out was well-timed. Will definitely be recommending this place to everyone to try

the review is just for valentines fixed menu. Out of 5 courses the steamed dumplings and the red pepper chutney were too strong and carrot pav was also on the stronger spice side. rest of the dishes including dessert hit it out of the park

Eylan is an outstanding addition to the food scene in this area. The food is really excellent and unusual. The menu has relatively small dishes and some larger ones, and everything we had was different from what one usually gets at an Indian restaurant, including Ettan or Rooh in the area. We particularly liked the trumpet mushrooms and the halibut, also the sea bream is excellent. The service was unusually good, people constantly filling water, bringing extra serving utensils. Especially for a new restaurant this is really unusual. We'll go back for sure. The one problem - and it's a a serious one - is the noise level. There's almost no reason to go with another person if you want to have anything but a shouting match. Hopefully when the weather is better there will be an outside part where the noise is lower, but something needs to be done to make this a dining experience with others.

Food was excellent. Our waiter was really friendly with great suggestions. Service has room to improve - We were seated at our table 30min past our reservation time, which was super delayed especially as we had guests from the east coast. The sommelier was unimpressive and actually was off-putting

The service was impeccable & the food was amazing. The server was knowledgeable about all the menu items & made adjustments to our order to accommodate for a food allergy. We will definitely go back.
