The award-winning, full-service Skillet Diner is opening in the iconic Post Alley of Seattle in June 2023. We’re a neighborhood joint doing our best to make the place feel relaxed, service attentive and easy, and the food approachable yet focused. Decent. Had to get a reservation as the day prior we weren’t able to sit and eat even though it was at a 30-40% capacity.

Disappointing. Although my salad’s greens were delightfully fresh (one would hope so, given Pike Mkt proximity), salad’s chicken tasted old and off (I did not eat once I tasted). Husbands “Ultimate Grilled Cheese” totally was not “ultimate” in any sense of the word. Kids’ didn’t dislike their meals, but there was absolutely nothing special about any of them. Not sure what the draw ever was here (a Monday in July was mostly empty).

Went for brunch with 3 friends and sat outside. Great service, good menu selection, and the food was really good. Nice mix of good food and service made us very happy!

The experience was OK, we waited a long time for our food when it came my grill cheese sandwich was cold plus the orders came out all wrong but our waiter made it work Thanks again for saving the day

Server told us we could split checks for 6 people but when time came to pay they told us it was would take a long time. We felt bad and made us split checks only 2 ways. Experience was not the best.
