At over 2150 square feet, which opens onto a 2530 square foot tree-shaded GARDEN, the new Ladurée consists not only of a lovely boutique, but also a tea salon and restaurant.
This exclusive address will offer several salons of exceptional character, each with its own decorative ambiance, in the Ladurée style.
All the rooms are decorated with custom-made furniture and unique pieces, collected from the finest Parisian antique shops.
Always lovely being here. My favorite thing about this place, besides the food, is the location. You will never know you're in the middle of Manhattan. In that way, it is much like its Paris counterparts. Try any of the macaroons, and I mean any! The breakfast menu, and the avocado toast were all standouts. End the meal with a glass of Vueve Clicquot and you're in Paris again.
Beautiful restaurant!!!! Great service!!!
I love their lychee rose macaron cake and saw they had a cute cafe with outdoor seating. However, it was clear that absolutely no effort was placed on the service or food. The menus were so dirty with stains it was disgusting and I literally saw spider webs by the wine ice buckets. The tea time sandwiches were inedible. I suggest just buying their pastries and dining elsewhere.
Travel Daughter and FATHER MY DAUGHTER BIRTHDAY TOO
I’ve been looking forward to visiting laduree’s cafe, and was I severely disappointed in the service. We received appetizers without sharing plates and had to ask. No one checked up on us to ask how was everything. Another server took the drink menu off our table without asking or saying anything, which is extremely rude. Every time I asked how an entree / dish was prepared, our server just repeated what was on the menu. The staff clearly doesn’t know the menu or the rules of service when it comes to dining. Now for the dessert part, the server asked what we would like. After choosing the dessert, she then informs us what they’re out of. It would’ve been helpful for her to let us know what they didn’t have when the menu was given. My friend sat there eating her dessert while I waited for mine since the original dessert I chose was sold out. After bringing out my dessert, she then forgot to give us two dessert silverware. My friend had to grab a spoon from the empty table next to us. So much for dining at a well known place in New York. Quite the disappointment.
Excellent place and will highly recommend it to my family and friends.
Mediocre food, terrible service, amazing outdoor atmosphere. Stick to dessert.
I’ve been to Paris restaurant many times and it is lovely. The NYC LaDuree is poorly run and the food is uninteresting and overpriced. The Baty was absolutely a disaster and no one cared to clean it up. The service was terrible. I had to ask for bread plates, silverware, glasses and salt and pepper numerous times before they were brought over— after my food has been delivered.
What a sad experience after visiting the Paris location.
Wonderful! Felt like being back in Paris!
Love the outdoor dining space. Great food and service.
Attentive waiter, and great food
I went there with my boyfriend's parents. Food was good and they really enjoyed! however, the service was not good. Everyone was so busy and no one came to take care of our table. I went to talk to the front desk and the guy who took care of our table to keep my card and pay for the table. For some reason, the guy who served our table still came to charge our table and took my boyfriend dad's card!! I stopped him and reminded him that I left my card with him. It should be a surprise... not very happy with this experience.
We loved Laduree SOHO, not necessarily for the quality of the food, but for the ambience, the service and the lovely, relaxing outdoor patio. Those three things are outstanding. The food was ok, including the macarons, which I know they are famous for, but were not my favorite. The gazpacho was very good, as were the signature "mocktails," the Marie Antoinette and the Romantique. Both were delicious and beautifully presented. Despite my food being a big lacking in flavor, I would go back again just to sit in that garden and enjoy an aperitif.
Took friends to Laduree for brunch. Requested patio seating and while it was a warm day, the patio was still exceptionally lovely. Food and presentation were spectacular as usual. Service was a bit slow, but it appeared our server was covering a significant number of tables. We will definitely return!
I requested a table in the front room with the pretty blue sofas when I reserved - as it had been dangerously hot in the afternoons of late. When we arrived the front room was empty and I repeated that request to the rude hostess with the eye and triangle tattoos on her arms. She simply said "No indoor seating - only outside" No explanation - nothing but attitude. On the way to the outdoor patio I saw that there were two huge private events in the chandelier room. We sat in the garden and it was okay. There were two women at the next table smoking, which was especially disturbing as we had two 8 year olds with us. We asked our waitress repeatedly to ask them to stop - after all it is against the law - but she didn't ask until they were paying their check. We had the (defrosted not fresh) lobster salad, crab cakes - also frozen and strangely gray inside, omelette - eh, and gazpacho pretty presentation but tasted canned. So yeah - won't be back. This place is a real tourist trap - like one of those spots that the Sex in the City tour bus drops mid-westerners who don't know any better. I miss Barolo - that place was amazing :(
Mal servicio , tardado, la comida cara y en poca cantidad.
Hot day and only outdoor seating. Had to track down waiters to get anything.
The atmosphere was so quietly inviting!!! And that was just walking into the outer retail store!!!! The egg white omelet was The Best I’ve ever had.... the accompanying small bread loafs fresh, crusty outside and perfection inside. Even the butter was beautifully subtle and creamy. I’ve never been here and it was selected by my lunch companion when she asked if I ever had macaroons. Strange question! But I said I haven’t had a macaroon in 30 years!! The sublime taste of the mint, Rose, chocolate and especially the Marie Antonette will pleasantly haunt me forever. That’s means I found a new obsession
Such a beautiful surprise in the midst of NYC. Elegant and special inside and quaint and relaxed outside, all while holding a French feel. We had breakfast and our food was beyond delicious.
Lovely outdoor space for tea.
Service was good, ambience was lovely but the food was only okay.
Everything was great!
Very good food and price is good for the wuality
Nice ambiance. The food is excellent. Quiche is perfect!!!
We have been many times because we love the look and location, but the service, from the maitre d' to the wait staff, is not good. Inattentive, pleasant but not knowledgable, attitude always comes across as
not caring. Food is always fine, but you really need better-trained staff.
Super cute place and food was really good! Service was slow and unwelcoming. Did not acknowledge the fact that we were there to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday.
It’s alway nice and pretty during the summertime
I waited for 20 minutes at my table and no one came to wait on me...
No air conditioning! What?! It was 100 degrees out and possibly hotter inside. Food was just ok. Macarons however were AWESOME, though a bit melted.
Took my daughter while on vacation. A little expensive but everything was sooo good especially coming from a coffee snob. I judge places on how they handle their own basics and everything from croissants to French toast and coffee was great. Decor what I would expect from what is described as a French tea house. Not a traditional breakfast place but that isn’t what you come for. Outdoor seating beautiful.
My mom, cousin, and I went for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We had a reservation and we were made to wait near my 20 minutes for our table.
Once we sat, the service was slow at best. Our food also came out at different points, making the dining experience less appealing.
I ordered the Niçoise salad. The tuna that cake was hard, over-cooked, and inedible. It took the waitress a while to come back to ask how things were, at which point I was too hungry to even send it back. The waitress asked if she could bring anything else, but I declined.
At the end, we asked to see the manager. It took the manager 15 minutes to come to our table. They offered us a few macarons as an apology. After complaining, and speaking with the manager and insisting they take my salad off, they did.
Poor service, poor quality food. Beautiful venue, and atmosphere. The garden is lovely. Just don’t expect a lovely French meal. This is overly touristy and not the experience you get at other salons around the world. I’ve been to many, and the service is always superb. This was subpar at best...
Food was great, and the Parisian atmosphere is exactly what you want from a place like this. However, service is very slow (we were there during Saturday brunch) and the meal was very expensive. Worth a visit for the experience, but know what you are paying for is the atmosphere and authenticity.
Amazing good and great service
Need to fix the ac ,too hot to eat there.Employee need to be flexible with the environment and make the customer’s satisfied.
Food was very mediocre if not on the low-end of fine Food. I had a tuna salad that the tuna was so tough it was almost inedible. Very very disappointing, the service was poor —our waitress didn’t seem to understand what we were asking for and she spoke English. Such a shame because we had lunch at Ladurée Paris and it was wonderful.
Definitely will not be a return customer.
Lovely patio garden experience. Our server was not friendly or responsive. Brunch was above average. Dessert was outstanding!
It was an amazing experience, definitely worth the money.
Service was terrible.
Food was terrible.
Such a disappointment
Great food and ambiance. The service was just a tad slow, but overall great place to eat.
Great lunch choice for girls lunch
