Starlite is a historic San Francisco cocktail bar with nearly a century of vibrant stories. Renowned for hosting lively parties and attracting iconic figures like Alan Ginsberg, Starlite invites guests to the Beacon Grand’s 21st-floor, featuring refreshed interiors by San Francisco designer Alice Crumeyrolle. The atmosphere is set with rich velvet fabrics and a jewel-tone palette inspired by the Art Deco Era, paying homage to the city’s icons. Crafted by Scott Baird of Trick Dog fame, the cocktails are both playful and meticulously made. Michelin-award-winning chef Johnny Spero curates a menu that celebrates San Francisco’s culinary artistry, drawing inspiration from international fare.     Nice bar above Beacon Grand hotel where we were staying, very bustling and loud even for half 6 on a Sunday night. We didn’t get a very good seat in between two couples where it was very loud so I asked the host to move but she wasn’t very gracious and seemed angry so we ended up just sitting on the high tables which I believe were just reserved for walk ins. Drinks were nice but took a while and were expensive. Nice but wouldn’t say the best but lovely views from the rooftop if you get a nice seat.

    Beautiful views on a clear day. Get a table non-sun facing or you will be looking at a closed shade. Great cocktails and service but not a food destination.

    The cocktails were interesting and delicious. Small bites were also good but the service was certainly lacking. My husband and I felt blatantly ignored by our waitress. It took us over 45 minutes before we could flag someone down to ask about ordering food and another round of beverages. This isn’t how we envisioned our anniversary evening.

    Exquisite interior and views. Huge loungey chairs - I can spend every night here. :) Food options are not strong but they have the post room down stairs if you want a full meal. Service is excellent. Overall a very pleasant experience and will definitely come back.

    My wife and I were anticipating our evening at Starlite and all expectations were met and exceeded. We came for drinks (Margarita & Martini) and they were delicious. The staff was super nice and very prompt. Last but not least, the views were amazing, even though Karl the Fog made an appearance.

    This would be a great intimate date spot. The views are beautiful. The cocktails tasty. It's very dark though. Not the best place for singles. It was quite sedate on the Thursday night we went as a party of 4. We thought it'd have more of a vibe. The newly renovated space is absolutely gorgeous though and the service was great.
