Exotic Pacific dining on an enchanted tiki island.

The Bali Hai Restaurant has been a favorite in San Diego for over 70 years. Our spectacular views of the San Diego bay and the downtown skyline make us the perfect location for any special event. Along with our dining room upstairs, our premise possesses three different and versatile private rooms. The flexibility of multiple private facilities allows us to accommodate any type of party. We host weddings, class reunions, birthdays, anniversaries, concerts, memorials, festivals, fundraisers, business meetings, seminars, and corporate events.

Cancellation Policy:
The Bali Hai Restaurant requires a credit card to secure all Sunday Brunch and Holiday reservations and large groups. All credit card information will be processed securely. Changes to reservations can be made online through OpenTable up until 24 hours before the reservation. No-shows or cancellations less than 24 hours in advance may be subject to a charge of $25 per person.

                                                                                              I vacationed to California specifically to go to Bali hi. This restaurant is hands-down a must experience! The mai tai's are out of this world amazing! You will never want one anywhere else.

                                                                                              Honestly was a great time, make sure to book a reservation so that you will be seated at a window. Service was great, food was great, and the drinks were strong! We had a beautiful view and my partner was very impressed with the restaurant I picked for us!

                                                                                              Rating the service on this one is a little tricky, as our server was brand new and being shadowed by a senior server. She was okay but you could definitely tell she was new so I don't feel it's right to ding her for anything. The shared an appetizer plate meant for 2 and it was fine, nothing that blew us away. What I found odd is they were unable to make me an espresso martini. But the meal itself made up for it. That was the best salmon dish I think I've ever had! Who knew strawberries went well with salmon? The view was beautiful. I would go back again.

Otherwise, we work off the pupu menu like we do in the Islands, instead of a full entrée.

                                                                                              Brunch was good although some of the items were over done (e.g. eggs Benedict). Also very noisy with small children who were not well behaved. Will come back for sure but likely not for brunch.
