Service was excellent - shout out to Javed. We are Selda Beltline regulars and have to say that we were disappointed because the food was not as stellar. The breadbasket had a dense loaf and not the wonderful light bread with a good serving of labneh that we were looking forward to. The lamb chops were dry and only ok. The garlic shrimp appetizer was fine - and the branzino was good - but not spectacular. We will remain Selda fans but likely stick with the north Dallas branch.

We had a wonderful experience at here. I’d been to the Selda in N Dallas and only just discovered they had additional locations. The Mayors House location has way more atmosphere, being housed in a former mansion. There’s also a very large patio with outdoor seating and, if you’re into hookah, there’s a lot of that happening on the patio. Our party of four ordered lots of small plates: tzatziki sauce, eggplant dip, hummus, shishito peppers, chopped tomato/cucumber salad, halloumi cheese. It came with delicious hot bread. Every single item was a hit. We also ordered the lamp chunks wrapped in pide which came with rice, grilled onions and veggies. It was the tastiest lamb dish I’ve ever eaten. The only negative for us in dining here is the drive to get there. The roads are very confusing, traffic is awful at the dinner hour, there’s construction and a lot of dangerous merging on the highways, constant short notice changing of lanes needed. If you have limited night vision, you may want to take uber. Highly recommend dining here.

welcoming outdoor patio with plenty of open air space. Food was authentic, delicious with beautiful presentation. Our server, Bahar, was friendly, well versed with the menu and the various items. She gave us great service and great recommendations. We really enjoyed our experience and will be coming back.

All of the food was very good. Most of the table ordered the lamb shank, it was not specified on the menu that it had a cream based sauce which was difficult for one of my guests as they can’t have dairy. The hummus was very delicious and so was the pistachio cheesecake.

They took forever to take our order and attend to our table. Then they only refilled our water when requested and it wasn’t cold despite us asking for ice. We come here often but this time wasn’t ideal

Delightful experience! Food was well-seasoned and delicious. We especially liked the spinach and feta pide, fried cauliflower, tzatziki and eggplant dip. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and made us feel right at home. Don’t skip the dessert tray!

Treated a friend from SC. Our waiter was the best—-very informative about the food items and his recommendations were perfect. The light fixtures and bright natural light made it a perfect setting.
