   Went to eat and watch the football. Was told the subscription to sky hadn’t been paid so football wasn’t on so didn’t bother eating

   The booking system is a shambles. I had booked weeks in advance only to find on arrival that the Opentable booking system shouldn't be operational, and therefore we had no table and had to be squeezed on to a table in the main bar area. On the positive side, a table was found for us quite quickly and the staff were very apologetic. But, on the very negative side, as we were seated in the main bar area, we were sat right in the middle of a live screened football match. So our nice dinner/friends catch-up was ruined as all we could hear was screaming. Staff took ages to take our order, and that took ages to arrive. Worryingly we saw food come out of the kitchen, circle the bar, and then go back in again when they couldn't work out what table the order was for. These orders contained meat products, and one burger we saw came out at lest 3 times before it was served! However, when the food finally arrived it was lovely! I can't really fault the staff for their performance because they were so very busy and they had done everything they could to accommodate us. The booking system is very much at fault and needs addressing asap. Also serving staff need to took at Hygiene and Food Safety issues when dealing with orders. And please stop people wearing outside clothes into the kitchen area. So overall, food was amazing, bar staff very helpful, but ordering system and order delivery is a shambles!

   Got a confirmation email to say the table was booked - get there on a busy Friday night to say the table wasn’t booked. It was then impossible to find another table anywhere else at half 7/8 on a Friday evening. Also far to noisy for a meal - the music was so loud

   We turned up for a meal , we had to make our way to our own table , it was that loud we couldn’t hear ourselves speak , we couldn’t even read the menu it was so dark , we waited 10/15 mins and walked out in the end , never again

   We went on a Friday night. The service was a little slow but to be expected considering how busy the place was. Staff were very friendly when you had a chance to speak to them. The atmosphere was great, if a little loud for a dinner/catch up with friends. But the food was absolutely delicious and fantastic value for money. Would definitely recommend.

   Booking from opentable never came through and with it being a group booking for 12, I feared we would struggle. Bar staff were ever so apologetic and assured us they would remedy the problem. Within 15 minutes we were all day down with a drink in a cosy booth where we could chat and catch up. Waitress came and took the order including drinks and everything arrived in due course. Forget solita or almost famous, these burgers are the real deal and absolute drinking value for money. Rather than being over priced and leaving you hungry, the food certainly hits the spot. £5 a pint is acceptable for the city and there's a good selection of craft beer too. Selection of spiced rum and gin too is good. Many thanks to the staff for accommodating us after the opentable booking disaster.

   Server dhillon was awesome really friendly very knowledgeable about the cocktails efficient smiley couldn't have asked for better. Food was awesome too massive burgers perfect comfort food the loaded fries were some of the best I've had. 👌🏽

    On the whole the food was reasonably priced and quite tasty however one of our party didn't get her food as they had missed it from the order, when it did arrive she sent it back as she had ordered ribs but they were very tough (perhaps because they rushed them out). As with many bars in the northern quarter the bar service was pretty poor with the staff too busy making cocktails, these bars could really benefit from a non cocktail's section, it's really frustrating having to wait up to 10 minutes to be served when the place doesn't even look that busy because the staff are messing around with umbrellas and sparklers. 6.5/10
