Overall pleasant but they are definitely ironing things out in early days after opening. Service was warm and friendly but bar was very backed up (took over 45min for drinks to arrive). Food was great and outdoor patio was lovely. Inside seemed lively. Stand outs were steak tartare and cheese plate. Definitely look forward to coming back as service gets sorted out.

Left a similar review on Google. They’re still relatively new, so I hope with time this establishment matures and places a heavier emphasis on their food and service rather than their Instagram presence. Staff and service were slow, cold, and inattentive. I’ll admit it was somewhat busy for a Tuesday evening when we went, but they had double the staff needed and still couldn’t keep up. It took 45 minutes for our martinis to arrive, our appetizers made it to the table before our drinks did. Entrees arrived an hour and a half after we placed our order. For a menu that has a whole section dedicated to steak frites, I expected top tier cuts, sides, and sauces. What we received was an un-seasoned, over cooked steak that tasted as though it had to be put back on the grill because it had been sitting in the kitchen awaiting pickup for far too long. The au poivre sauce accompaniment was comparable to the kind you could get in a packet down the street at Kroger. Their Caesar was limp and soggy as if it had been wilting on the line in the kitchen for 20 minutes or so. We also ordered the Gruyère mac and cheese, or what I would rather refer to as a bowl of noodles swimming in béchamel with little semblance of Gruyère anywhere in the dish. As someone who has had the pleasure of dining in quality, legitimate, Michelin-star French restaurants, I was disappointed to say the least. Since they’re new, I anticipate they will improve over time, but for now we won’t be returning. For those in the Midwest who have yet to try true French cuisine, you’re better off booking a ticket to France or even NYC to get a meal that stays true to the cuisine’s principles, especially at the price point Chouette charges.

Best restaurant in Columbus ... still need to work on training staff but the food is excellent ... especially surprising that the seafood is quite good for a landlocked city.

Attractive setting, very polished server. Food is pricey, $9 for the deviled egg, consisting of three half eggs. Other items a bit high as well. Oddly, I thought, the chef refused the request to butterfly the filet, simply told the server he wouldn't do it. I don't know of other restaurants so surprisingly intransigent. It made me reflect upon the Cameron Mitchell motto, "The answer is yes, what's the question". Wine list is broad and interesting, served at proper temperature. Overall, a fun and popular restaurant, well attended for the time being.

Fabulous food and cocktails. Our server Alejandro was delightful, attentive and professional. We were entertaining out of town guests and this was the perfect venue to showcase Columbus and its wonderful food scene. Can’t wait to retutn. Highly recommend, the signature martini, chicken, fish and pasta entrees. Really delightful!

We loved the evening. The service was excellent. The food was outstandingly delicious. We were on the second level and the noise was pretty high. The three tables were very close together, so you felt like you were almost dining with strangers. I liked the extra help of those who poured water, brought bread and butter, and serve the food.

Service was amazing. Our server, I apologize for not remembering her name, was phenomenal. Ambiance was amazing. All of the dishes perfectly executed with top quality ingredients.

The good was delicious and service was amazing! It was just very loud (lots of echoing from downstairs to upstairs) and couldn’t really hear what my date or server was saying

The food & service were excellent. Food was prepared to perfection. Courses arrived without being rushed. Presentation was exquisite. Temperature of foods made each item most palatable. Great variety of both appetizers & main course.
