Chef Susanna and her husband Ben operate Susanna's Comfort Cuisine Bistro and Bar in the heart of downtown Colorado Springs. We offer several Italian dishes but also a variety of Mediterranean and stir fry dishes, plus hand-made pizzas and our Filet Mignon steak.
* Sunday morning we offer an exciting brunch menu complete with a variety of hand-crafted cocktails.
* Taco/Tostada Tuesday with Beer and Margarita Specials.
* Wednesdays is kids eat free, choose from fettuccine alfredo, spaghetti and meatball, and mac & cheese.
* Happy Hour nightly 5-6, buy one get one half off any drinks.
* We have a dog-friendly patio available as well.

    Mashed potatoes with the filet were cold. Chicken tagine is wonderful. Starter basket is odd. Do one or the other. Bread or Mediterranean.

    Booked this place last minute on Wednesday while on vacation with my wife and two young kids. So glad we did! It’s owned by a local couple who clearly know and care about good food. One of the owners, Ben greeted and served us like royalty. Highly recommend the Apple cake dessert!

    We had a lovely dinner with fresh ingredients and beautifully presented. The chef came out to speak to us which we enjoyed. The ambiance is different, quiet and cheery - not certain if there is a decor theme - it felt a little sparse. The wait staff ( chef's husband) was very attentive. We sat at 7 and were out by 8 ( they close at 8) but didn't feel as if we could linger. The menu is wonderful with something for everyone. We will definitely return - a nice local spot for dinner.

    I don’t usually write reviews, but two recent meals at Susanna’s inspired me to contribute. Both our dinner meal and our brunch were excellent in taste and presentation. The service was outstanding, both friendly and prompt. Cocktails were well prepared and tasty. Prices were very reasonable for the quality of the meal. We will definitely return to their restaurant, and I hope to sample lunch from their food truck in the near future. I highly recommend Susanna’s for an impressive and satisfying meal.
