The lively interior and atmosphere reflects the location, whilst also retaining the familiarity of the trusted, comfortable local – perfect for everything from fun dinners with friends and family gatherings, to a leisurely brunch armed with the weekend papers.
In addition to lunch and dinner, Foxlow Soho will open daily for brunch, which will include the famous Fried chicken, egg & croissant waffle. Theatregoers and value-seekers will love the set menu and on Tuesday nights (as with all Foxlow restaurants) customers will be able to bring their own wine, corkage free. Weekend brunching will take place from 10am – 3pm with several new brunch cocktails alongside bottomless Bloody Marys. And Sundays at Foxlow are well known for roasts, either Beef with all the trimmings or the new Chicken pot roast.

I booked Foxlow for brunch catch up with my uni friends here, and I was really happy with the food as well as their Virgin Mary (I didn't want to drink alcohol, but my friends who got the cocktails said they're really good as well). The server we had was very friendly and diligent, and made an excellent recommendation with one of my food choices. He did accidentally knock over some food on me when he was delivering to the table, but these things happen, no harm done, and they went (in my opinion) above and beyond to rectify the situation. I would definitely go again!
The best steak I've had in a long time. I had a rare rib eye - exceptional. I always love skinny fries as well. Great £5 cocktails before 7pm and a lovely sticky toffee pudding. It's quite loud. Which is good for us - we can talk and laugh as loudly as we want without worrying!
I went to Foxlow Soho for a lunch with a former colleague. The booking arrangements, the service in the restaurant and the food were all excellent. I thought the menu was good too with sufficient choice but not too much. Finally, the central location and the value-for money means I look forward to visiting the restaurant again.
Food was great! I always go for the Flat Iron and the mushrooms :)
Good food and menu selection. Nice ambience inside
Nice atmosphere, great value on bottomless brunch. Food left a lot to be desired but I would come back for the drinks!
Tasty food (we both had steak) with a lively, relaxed atmosphere. Attentive and friendly staff. We sat downstairs and were pleased to have our own table rather than one of the sharing tables upstairs. Would have been 5* if it wasn’t for the fact that my preferred starter and main course options had sold out - but happy with my second choices!
The staff seemed very busy and service was slow to begin with.
The food was delicious though.
Great food and recommendations from the ultra friendly staff, BYOB with no corkage on a Tuesday is a must!
Have been here for lunch before but never fails to please. Good quality food at a great price and excellent service.
Excellent Sunday roast beef! Took my family here and they loved it! One of the best roasts in central London! Will be back again!
The staff could not have been better. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable about the food and the area. We were visiting from out of town and we asked for multiple recommendations. Could’ve stayed there all night! Food and drinks were excellent!
Very good staff friendly and good well timed service. Background music and plenty of chatter but you don’t have to shout to have a conversation. Good choice from meat to vegan .
A lovely restaurant. Fun interior, great food and a very quick service. Nice vegetarian options and good portion size. Overall a very good experience, especially at this location.
BYOB Tuesday was such a good evening. Aside from letting us bring our own wine, the chicken burgers were fantastic and when we did run out of booze, the wine list came to the rescue. Great service too. Will be back!
Friendly service, roast was delicious. The Orange and almond cake is definitely worth trying! Slow service once dishes were eaten, didn’t check to see if we wanted anymore drinks and had to wait a while to get the bill even though it wasn’t very busy.
They were not very helpful and were very focused on money, and not on the customer. It was a very unpleasant experience and the food wasn't great either.
We expected it to be rammed when we arrived on a Saturday night, shortly after 9pm, but there were plenty of seats available.
Good selection of steaks, meat, burgers - menu is like an upscale diner. Comfort food.
The chicken burger was Southern Fried breast in buns. Tasty. Chips were crispy. burger looked good.
A good pit stop post-movie.
The wine and beer options were good, and staff were very pleasant. However, it was a shame that the steak was a bit tough for medium-rare, and the side dishes were very small.
As a sister restaurant of Hawksmoor (which we love), we were really looking forward to checking Foxlow out. I think we were inbetween lunch and dinner service, which meant service was slow, although all staff were extremely friendly. Nice starters, but my basic chicken burger was served raw and I had to send back. Hugely disappointing for a reputable brand and not sure how they could get something so basic so wrong! Sadly we won’t be returning.
Excellent service and good if you are on a tight schedule. Our starters arrived before the drinks, which arrived just after. Excellent quality food. Flat Iron steak so tender and the whole sea bream was really fresh. Really enjoyed my evening there.
All the decor and menu for a great meal, but the reality was a bit of a let down. Too bright, too quiet, too hot. I had high hopes, and I’m sure they can do so much better with very little change.
short menu, but was very good, and the grilled fish was excellent!
Sadly a celebration dinner for my new job was ruined by over loud music and an incredible loud diner at another table: staff did nothing to reduce the volume of the music or ask the diner to be quieter. They just brought the bill.
Lovely comfort food. Starters a bit pricey, but mains good value.
Great service on two occasions i’ve been.
Lovey and relaxed - good for a trip into town, or a relaxed business meal.
Limited menu. Overpriced for the portion sizes
And the novelty of having an open kitchen gets old quickly when you have to put up with smell. Our clothes stank at the end of the night.
An occasional visitor to the Clerkenwell branch of Foxlow it was a rather nice treat to head over to the Soho sibling for a business lunch. A very different atmosphere from EC1 but still very much the Foxlow feel. A simple menu, ideal for lunch, quiet enough to talk without being entirely free from atmosphere and only a ten-minute walk from the office.
Nice atmosphere good bar to sit at whilst waiting for your table. Excellent service waiter very friendly & funny. Nothing seemed to much trouble. Burgers were very good. quick service.variety of beers happy hour cocktails 17:00- 19:00 surcharge email@example.com% for 6 of us it was £140.
Really nice food, over priced cocktails, poor service
Wonderful staff particularly at the Soho branch - each of them were friendly, helpful and very attentive. Food is consistently excellent - simple and well executed. Ideal place for a special meal.
Been avoiding Foxlow due to very bad (slow/not available) service on last couple of visits but tempted back by BYO Tuesday and glad I did. Service was completely different and attentive, food was excellent (rib starter, sirloin for main (good quality cut and well cooked) and sticky toffee for dessert) and BYO idea is excellent so made for decent value
Good breakfast and nice restaurant. Service slowed when it got busy but overall it was very pleasant.
This is not our first visit to Foxlow Soho. Service was friendly and efficient - the one lady being particularly charming. Thankfully a loud table was just finishing as we arrived so we were spared any annoyance from that, and so the ambience was perfect.
Flat-iron steak ordered all round were excellent - with just one maybe a little over-salted - cooked to our likings. Short list of dessert options all looked great, although they didn't have all available. Sticky toffee pudding was nice but not the best apparently, and the Elvis sundae (with bacon bits) sounded intriguing enough to try but would be an acquired taste!
Overall great and recommended but could have been even better!
Overall the food tastes great but the portions are rather small. Which is kind of OK as the prices are reasonable for Central London. The chicken and waffles were excellent. Ice cream sundaes were tiny. Nothing like the picture on their website. Couldn't really call them a 'sundae'. Two tiny scoops in a glass dish with a teaspoon of topping, not worth £6.50 each.. Nice atmosphere - we were there for Saturday lunch but thankfully it wasn't too busy. As they offer bottomless drink options the waitress said the weekends can sometimes get very hectic and rowdy with groups. Service was friendly and helpful but food did take a while to arrive despite them not being as busy as usual. I can imagine it would have been a very long wait if they were at capacity, but we were in no rush. Very good experience overall. Would go again as the food was excellent. Bit of an 'Instagrammable' venue if you're into that kind of thing.
Excellent service. Great food - our steaks were cooked just as we liked them. Good cocktails and reasonably priced!! Really friendly staff and good atmosphere. We stayed from 7 pm for well over 2 hours. Great place, I would go again!
The flat iron steak and mac and cheese and the margaritas were all brilliant. Our server, Gordon was great and attentive and knowledgeable (and kept he margaritas coming.)
Will definitely be back.
The place looks better than it tastes, doesn’t stand up to its Soho neighbours. Much better restaurants nearer by.
Not often you find somewhere so reasonably priced in the area! The food was great, range of options for vegetarians and carnivores. Our waitress was extremely friendly with a good sense of humour. I had the ribeye and it was cooked perfectly with bags of flavour.
If anything the food came too quickly (odd flaw), but it made it feel a little rushed at times.
Would definitely recommend and will be coming back for more!
The ribeye steak was superb, however the chips was a bit disappointed because they were too stringy. The bearnaise sauce should have been included with the steak. Mushroom side was fantastic.
