The restaurant was very clean and cozy. Minimalistic. Faint music on in background for a Friday night. No German gimmicks (chicken dance, das boot beer). The food was very delicious and fresh. Did not want to stop eating. We will be returning.

Great buildout and welcoming decor ! Looks authentic and staff very accommodating and friendly! Food fantastic , red cabbage was spectacular! Jeager Scnitzel great also. Beer delicious and reasonably priced. Wine seemed really overpriced , but who drinks wine in a German Restaurant?

Was excited to try the new German restaurant in downtown Orlando; so nice to have something different. Very pleased to hear a live musician on a Tuesday night; volume was appropriate for dining and conversation although the soft oldies pop play list seemed a little incongruous. Theming in general seemed bland/generic; there is a nod to Germany in the servers’ clothing but not much else. I didn’t expect cuckoo clocks in a “modern German” restaurant but we were quite underwhelmed with the stark environment, although everything was very clean. Overall service (Eric) was attentive and on point, and we found the “original schnitzel” to be deliciously fresh and perfectly prepared, and the $10 Jager mushroom sauce made it excellent. Creamed spinach was fresh and light, not the heavy “spinach cheese gravy” style of so many steakhouses. Other items need some work — the goat cheese salad was frankly boring despite the generous hunk of nicely grilled goat cheese, and the Curry-wurst sausage was overwhelmed with a thick, sticky tomato-paste sauce; far more tomato than curry flavor and the sausage could not compete. Tried one of the yummy fries that accompanied the curry-wurst, but wish a non-fried substitution was permitted. Ordered (and paid for) a sauerkraut side and it was terribly disappointing — seemed to be right out of a can (or long overcooked) and not at all like the fresh, fragrant sauerkraut experienced in-country. Sincerely hope and recommend that the organization can continue to refine their environment and food creations, as well as flexibility for dietary substitutions without everything being an upsell or extra charge — which leaves a sour taste in the Guest Experience. They have some special events for Oktoberfest and a German ChristmasMart coming up, and we will be back to check those out!

Absolutely wonderful! As someone who grew up in Germany I know what good German food should taste like and this is it! Best German restaurant in Orlando by far! I can’t wait to bring the rest of my family and friends here. Nadine was wonderful as well!

Everything at this restaurant was very mid. From the moment you walk in everyone looks unfriendly and sad to be there. We had already ordered our food and then served our drinks. Then they switch servers last second and it was a very unusual, awkward transition. Our original server was still working at the table behind us. The food was very bland in flavor and the overall demeanor of the staff was sad. Definitely would not go back again. I am sure they’re better restaurants in the area than theirs.

Food was excellent. I am German growing up in Germany. The food was delicious. Typical German food from the area where the owner is from. We will definitely be back.
