Reservations basically mean you’re entered into a cue. Expect an hour wait over reservation on a weekend, got drinks well after done eating, eventually had to flag someone down to get our bill to leave. Lost its appeal and just going back to a traditional steak house. Food was good / same standard as the rest. Won’t be going back not worth the time investment personally.

It was my first time at this type of restaurant. The service was excellent, everyone friendly and the food was great. We chose the full experience and I think it was worth it. My only complaint is that we waited 30 minutes for our table even though we made reservations. The host was good at communicating with us and also provided some bread. I attribute the delay to the newness of this location and a busy Friday night.

We were here three weeks after opening. They don’t have their act together yet. Several vegetarian items on the menu weren’t available. Our table was not ready until 20 minutes after our reservation. And the kitchen forgot to make my friend’s order so he had to eat the salad bar meal in order for us to make it to our concert on time. On the positive side, they comped us for his order.

I think they are still working out some kinks. Our server took our order for the Churrasco experience, but failed to put the “stop/go” cards in our table, so we were skipped for meat delivery. Not a big deal, except he never returned. I tracked down another server elsewhere in the restaurant and eventually got cards. Same experience with the bill, probably because we didn’t have a server. Finally got bill after about 30 minutes, also required walking around and asking a third server. Final draw is that parking specifically designated for the restaurant is described on their site, but should be explained that it is $10, no validation. Not a big deal, but something to make folks aware of in advance.

Smaller salad bar than other local Fogos - maybe half the size. Meat was not at same level of quality as other locations. Service workers were all extremely friendly and attentive. Never felt abandoned nor overly interrupted either. Reasonably priced drinks and desserts. Tables along window are extremely cold because of floor based AC vents.

Overall, the Seattle Fargo de Chao was a disappointing experience. The wait staff failed to bring to our table side dishes that were included and then said they were out. Also the offering of Brazilian style steakhouse meat cuts was pitiful. We and all the tables around us complained repeatedly that very few meat options were offered to diners. If you do go, get the reduced priced “Best of Brazil” offer and don’t let them upsell you to the supposedly full experience. We saw almost no offerings of the full experience’s upscale meats to any table regardless of what level of meal diners had ordered. When I complained to the manager, he was empathetic and polite but did nothing to resolve the issues.

Service was rough. Someone in our party ordered an actual dish that came out in an hour. Our sides that we ordered took 30 minutes and they didn’t have horseradish there. The food was good quality though and our group had fun, regardless

This restaurant was LOUD! It is part buffet, with servers roaming around with skewers of meat that they carve onto people's plates. Random people squeezing through the dining room to go heap their plates on the buffet contributed to the chaotic vibe of this place. I have never had such stressful dining experience! The steak was okay--needed salt; the side of mashed potatoes was cold and gummy. In spite of servers everywhere, we had to ask several times for a simple side of chimichurri. The buffet was an odd mix cheese, charcuterie and roasted vegetables. I really wanted a salad. I had a choice of an overdressed, pre-mixed caesar, or plain lettuce. We live locally, and will never be back.

Overall great experience. Service was fantastic, everyone was attentive and kind. Food was delicious, with servers continuously making sure we had freshly replenished sides. Will definitely be back again!

Really enjoyed our first trip to this nice addition to the Seattle downtown area! Visited with my wife and daughter (10th grade) and enjoyed it thoroughly! We'll be back for sure. Suresh kept us engaged and entertained!
