Located on Regent Street, The Wigmore is set to become a new social institution with a touch of London polish and a place where everyone is welcome.
This Great British pub serves a carefully created drinks list from the team behind Artesian, including great wines, cask ales and craft beers including The Wigmore’s very own house “Saison”, brewed in partnership with Bermondsey’s “Brew by Numbers”.
The food menu overseen by Michel Roux Jr defines quintessential British pub fare.

A good Saturday lunch - excellent service and good food delivered without significant delay.
My only complaint would be that the lunch menu was very restrictive with a poor level of choice. They needed at least 2 more main course options.
Food was excellent - the cheese quiche in particular was so light. However, portion size was probably more corden bleu than filling. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes. They were attentive but not in an annoying way. The main thing we noticed was that we could chat across the table without having to shout. Even though the venue was busy, it wasn't loud. Our group enjoyed it and are likely to return.
More of a restaurant than a pub. Great food - the scotch eggs are a must - and very pleasant staff.
Excellent venue in a great location, stunning decor with great levels of service. The food was well presented with an explosion of flavours; not your average pub meal.
A fave hideaway with great food, best scotch egg in town!
Really enjoyed the look and feel of the Wigmore. It is a busy bar, but could easily get service if it wasn't already being offered. I thought it was great value for such a venue, however the bar menu food was extremely salty and didn't really enjoy that part so much. Would definitely return for drinks though.
Very friendly, nice relaxed atmosphere excellent food and good value. Made to feel special.
We enjoyed an excellent lunch here on a Friday afternoon. Place wasn't too busy and the food was very good.
This was our second time visiting The Wigmore - we loved it so much the first time we had to come back. The service and food are both top notch!
Everything was fantastic! Charming, great ambiance and excellent service. I highly recommend the Chicken Tika pie and soft serve dessert.
The cheese toastie was fantastic! Excellent beers and excellent service!
Food was fantastic, however service could have been better. There was one guy, sadly I didn’t get his name, who served our table and was absolutely fantastic!
The Wigmore is a very attractively decorated place in the corner of the Langham hotel. The food menu is reasonably varied and decently priced. The food was tasty and very well presented. There is an excellent drinks selection with a broad wine offering by the bottle, glass or even on draft. The cocktails also look unique although I didn't try any. Service was excellent
Beautiful pub with friendly staff and delicious food and wide range of drinks. Great for a get together and for watching World Cup matches in comfort
Perfect example of British food at its best.
Our son recommended The Wigmore to us so we decided to go for lunch last Saturday and we're very glad we did. My husband is still raving about the mussels which he said were the best he'd ever had, anywhere! We ordered extra dishes for the table as we were intrigued by so many things on the menu and certainly look forward to a return visit. It is a lovely, cosy, welcoming setting.
Great gastro pub feel in heart of London. Lovely decor, food. Highly recommend.
Business meeting. Drinks and food great. We sat at the room behind the bar, which is a lot quieter than the main room, so perfect for meetings.
Magnificent lunch served by excellent staff with wonderful wine in outstandingly beautiful bar
An excellent local venue for a drink and a chat in very pleasant and convivial surroundings.
Reasonably priced, service charming and good but not fast !
No hesitation in recommending it to others.
Well deserved high reviews - delicious food, great service and in beautiful surroundings. A rare find in a neighbourhood where restaurants are often very expensive or dull chains
The food was excellent, as ever, the staff attentive without being pushy, and for a midweek lunchtime it wasn't overly crowded. Additionally when I made my on-line booking and explained that my companion would have a pram with her I was called and asked whether a booking for three but with only two chairs/place settings would help. That was a nice touch.
Great food, great staff and a really beautiful venue. Highly recommended!
Great food and great service. I took my 6 year old and she loved the scotch eggs.
Comfortable spacious upmarket pub restaurant with classic decor. Service efficient and friendly. And quick. Limited choice of food but the upside of that it is freshly and well cooked and still a good variety of options with some interesting variants of trditional pub grub.
The lamb pie was one of the best pies I have ever tasted and I love pies.
Amazing time. Food and service was top notch !
But the coffee was not great ! Shame to finish such a great lunch on such a bad note !
I have eaten at the Wigmore before and really enjoyed the bustling atmosphere and the nice menu. And it didn't disappoint this time - I had the cauliflower cheese and and rhubarb desert which were delicious. The bar was full; great experience and attentive & pleasant staff. Will definitely come back.
The staff were knowledgeable and helpful, as well as being able to accommodate a last minute addition of two diners to our party. The service was quick and the food excellent and the only thing that prevents five stars across the board is that the cheese to finish was served cold. I realise that there are food storage regulations but cheese cannot be fully enjoyed if it's not at room temperature so next time I will order the cheese board, which was an excellent selection by the way, at the start of the meal to allow it to warm through prior to eating.
I have been meaning to pop in for a while so the chance to treat a colleague before she leaves became a good excuse. I love the pub feel! The staff were friendly and helpful but not over you all the time (the perfect balance). The bar snacks looked amazing but I went for the steak sandwich: just brilliant. A good cut, cooked just as I asked, a nice portion size. And the beer: proper! I will try to visit now and again as a treat to myself!
Beautiful decor. Lovely welcome. Original and delicious food .
We had a lovely, relaxed meal in superb surroundings.
There were some errors (c.£50)on the bill which I wouldn't mention normally but am disappointed that our waitress questioned our query on the bill.
Despite this, we a great afternoon and we would definitely return.
The diabolical weather meant that there were not many people about when we arrived and we need not have booked a table. We enjoyed a splendid casual Saturday lunch and tried as many things as we could from the food and drink menu. Service was very friendly, knowledgeable and prompt.
I was unable to resist the call of “Shaky Pete’s Ginger Brew” described as a “Hoptail”, or Shandy, which included gin – fantastic, I wish I had had a pint. My other half had a “Carol Channing”, a variation on a Kir Royal – also delicious.
The crab crumpets and Masala spiced Scotch Egg were small and beautifly formed and just as good as other reviewers have said they were.
For my mains I had Butter Poached Cod with Monks Beard (my new favourite vegetable) and my wife had the Cauliflower Cheese and Cauliflower bahji, which she said was also perfect.
To wash this down we decided that a bottle would be too much so ordered a 50cl carafe of Rose, which was so good we immediately ordered another. Since we had run out of food, we ordered a plate of cheese to share.
The meal was rounded off with a treacle tart and a “Walnut whip” of soft serve ice cream, walnuts and marshmallow and coffees.
A great lunch and well worth our special trip up to London for it.
Authentic peace and calm in the very centre of London. Quick service and traditional dishes with a twist.
Out in London for the theatre and wanted some great food before the show. At first glance the menu looked like it had few options but everything sounded tempting and had food envy for every plate that came to the table that meant we started to plan when we could come again to try the other dishes.
The Wigmore is a great pub and a real gem for the Oxford Circus area.
ok. Polite and pleasant service, though somewhat chaotic....the starters arrived with the main course. Ambiance lacking because it was a quiet lunchtime. The food was nice but not special
gorgeous pub, centrally located and amazing pumpkin dish - just please put some more veggie dishes on the menu!
Service was slow but it was good. The venue is lovely, I would like to try it in the evening as I only went for a lunch.
Previously I was critical of the service but the staff now seem up to the high standards of the food. Given this is next door to my office I can see this being a regular joint for me.
As it's close to Christmas, we were given a table in the back on very low but comfortable chairs. The bar food was lovely - we had the steak roll and the sardines as a starter size. Nice wine, great service and lovely atmosphere including the fire alarm going off!! Will definitely go back....
