   It’s only been open since December, so not many reviews about Yasemi yet. Yes, it’s part of a corporate restaurant group, but this Mediterranean concept works. Also, it’s connected to the Godfrey hotel, so maybe it’s average hotel food? Not at all. This was a pleasant surprise. Staff was attentive and the food was flavorful and plentiful. Menu selections are not extensive, which means they do those items well. House made pita bread baked in their own hearth. They have pizzas at lunch from the oven as well. Grilled octopus was a treat and we split the tomato salad. Don’t hesitate to book a table here.

   The kabobs and lamb shank were phenomenal! We had a party of five and the service was wonderful!

   I was a single diner at dinner as my friend had to cancel. I was only able to try a few things. I had the Heirloom Tomato Salad, Pork Kebabs and the Whole Aegean Bronzini which were all delicious. They have an interesting cocktail menu with unusual twists. The service was good and the ambience is light and airy. I would like to return and try other items on the menu.

   We dined here this evening as a party of 12 and were extremely disappointed with the service. Litzy was our server, and unfortunately, the experience was far from what we expected. As we sat down, only a few of our water glasses were filled, while others remained empty despite multiple requests. While our cocktails arrived promptly, we had asked to sample two kinds of wine, and shockingly, the tasting glasses never made it to our table for nearly an hour—well after our food had arrived. My husband eventually had to get up and speak to Litzy about it, and rather than offering an apology or showing any concern, she seemed indifferent to the situation. For a large party willing to spend money, this level of service was simply unacceptable. While the food itself was good, the lack of attentiveness and care from the service staff completely soured the experience. We will definitely not be returning.

   Overall experience was good, but wouldn’t ginger again. Food was pretty mediocre, wasn’t too impressed with the various dips. Cauliflower item was pretty good. Service was also good.
