    First of all, making a reservation was fast and easy through open table. The dining experience at Char was luxurious and delicious. The woman who took care of us treated us like we were about to have the most tasteful experience and we did! I had the filet mignon cooked to perfection and still hot as it was served on a stone plate that kept it sizzling as I carved into it! The apple tart for dessert was divine. I would recommend this place for a date night for the young and old. We were two happy seniors have the most romantic time of our lives due to the elegant atmosphere. Thank you Char and OpenTable for such a beautiful night and forever memory.

    Our experience was spectacular from start to finish! It started with the most helpful person manning the seating. She was incredibly helpful and even went out of her way to get my 87 year old Mom a cushion so she could sit up higher. Mica, our server, was stupendous!! We were slightly concerned about the food as the chilli dipping platter was not tasty but were blown away with the rest of the meal-the Waygu burger with fries being the best ever!!!

    The latest incarnation of the restaurant at Hotel Andaluz was a bit disappointing. The good: the ambiance is very nice, the staff (hosts, servers, etc.) was very friendly, and the burger was good. The not so good: The food was a mixed bag...the burger was great that a couple in our party had, the steaks were disappointing for two reasons. First, they are served on a sizzling stone which is a nice gimmick when they bring it out...but the steak continues to cook as you eat it. By the time you are half way through meal, it is overcooked (unless you like well done). Second, the cut was not great for the price. The place has a lot of opportunity but probably won't be back (at least until they change the restaurant again).

    As their name suggests, they definitely specialize in their steaks. I highly recommend the bone in prime ribeye. Considering how they're prepared (they're served on a stone that's 400°F upon presentation) I suggest getting it slightly rarer than you normally would. The steak will continue to cook on the stone.

    The service was friendly and good but slow - we were the only table in the restaurant and there was a singular focus on getting tables set up for dinner. I had a to-go order that almost didn't get in as they closed the lunch service even after I noted wanting to place the order at the end of our lunch; luckily the chef obliged. The new remodel/decor is very nice! The quality of the food was good. The presentation was good. The menu is focused which is also good. We want them to do well - the prices felt high to us for what we received.

    The food and drinks were amazing, and we can't wait to return to try more of the menu items. We brought our granddaughter who is visiting from out of town, and she loved the food as well. This will be our new favorite restaurant to bring our out-of-town guests. Definitely valet park as the neighborhood is not the best.

    Wine list was minimal. We had two appetizers the fundido had little flavor and was so oily. We tried the tamale appetizer and were surprised that it was only one (for $18)! Very little meat and again not a lot of flavor. Three entrees were ordered. The Branzino, shrimp and pork Milanese. Out of the three the shrimp was the best. We all left feeling a little ripped off and disappointed. Service was good. However we won't be going back.
