   We went for lunch mid week. I ordered the lunch special, half pizza margherita and soup. I specifically ordered the pizza without salt since many friends had been there and found the pizza way too salty. They add much salt on purpose. you can also order the pizza with little salt. The pizza was good even if it was barely warm. The presentation, however, was good and it looks as an Italian pizza. The mushroom soup was also good but warm, not hot as I expected. Suggestion, you might send the pizza and the soup back is not hot. The waitress was very good and enjoyed talking to us.

   Bardo is an Earth to Table restaurant with an amazing and changing menu. The menu choices are seasonally refreshed, which, for me, makes the need to visit often mandatory. Upon entering we were surprised with a, high end, cafeteria like feel. The service was fantastic. After struggling to choose menu options, we went with our servers recommendations and more. We requested all food items to arrive together however due to a small table, this was not an options. We started with Hummus, fries and Mussels, followed up by Crispy Mushrooms and Bardo Snack Board. All exceded expectations and due to the large portion size we went home with a meal for later. Unfortunately, due to a snag with their liquor license, alcohol was unavailable. However, do not let that deter you from staying. The food is worth the water! For a first visit, I would suggest visiting with a large group, or at least requesting a large table, and tasting as many options as possible. When exiting the restaurant, book a second visit so you can order your favorite and try something new. We look forward to our next visit and can't wait to make it a new taste experience. MUST TRIES: Crispy Mushrooms, Hummus and Bardo Snack Board.

   Everything was great but one star was lost on service because they failed to call us ahead of our reservation and mention they were unable to serve alcohol. Aside from that the food and service was wonderful.

   We love going to our beloved “bread bar” (IYKYK). Food is consistent and our server was great. It was a bit loud but it was also very busy during dinner time! They were in between liquor licenses but we didn’t mind. It’s great they have this location on Brant now :)

   A perfect addition to the downtown Burlington restaurant scene . A new neighbourhood gem with a great menu & service to match. Looking forward to return visits.

   They’ve just opened a couple of weeks ago and we’ve gone 3 times. Wine Wednesday is a great night. It’s busy! Food is really good. Only 1 thing we didn’t like and that was the mushroom appetizer. Burrata, calamari and pizzas are fabulous

    Couldn’t recommend it enough! The pizza is amazing! You have to try the salad and fries too. Good happy hour prices for beer and cocktails. Servers were friendly and quick, food came out promptly. We will be returning soon!
