    Sometimes, newer places in Dallas get bad reps for not being good but this place is yummy! Happy hour was really on point! The EXSW margarita was delicious and also the appetizer platter was great with a lot of different options.

    It was fine, the place it’s incredibly beautiful, the hosts are great but the service was slow…my expectations where higher on the food, I was a little disappointed but I would give this place a second chance!

    I was quite pleased with this dining experience. The hostesses were friendly and had beautiful smiles. The ambiance of the restaurant was outstanding. It was 2pm, windows open, light ac, air blowing perfectly throughout our meal. The food and drinks were out at an appropriate time. Fresh and delicious. Waitress was very kind and knowledgeable. Will definitely return.

    Five stars for vibes, four stars for food and drinks. Palma in Deep Ellum is where Miami meets mezcal and where I briefly considered quitting my job to become a full-time ambiance chaser. The space? Think tropical escape meets modern lounge—like if Tulum had an affair with a Dallas rooftop and they raised their lovechild on espresso martinis and curated playlists. I came in skeptical (Deep Ellum can be hit or miss), but Palma delivers: moody lighting, greenery for days, and a crowd that clearly got the memo that this is where you pregame looking like a casual influencer. Food was solid: the ceviche was fresh, the short rib tacos hit all the right notes, and the churros were the kind of dessert that makes you text your ex “hope you’re well” just for company. Service was attentive without hovering—shoutout to our server who subtly judged our third round of cocktails but still brought them with a smile. Is it loud? Yes. Is it a little extra? Also yes. But would I go back? Without question. Especially if that mezcal margarita is still on the menu and the lighting continues to make me look ten years younger. Pro tip: Sit near the bar for the best people-watching, and don’t wear heels you can’t walk in—Deep Ellum cobblestones don’t care about your aesthetic.
