Yummy food, and drinks are tasty (but very watered down)! Fun, but very loud atmosphere and very busy so service can be a bit slow.
Great decor and fun atmosphere with delicious food at excellent prices. Service also top notch
Great food and drinks
This is a great spot for bottomless brunch. It was really hard to choose what to order because everything sounded so good. Our server was very attentive and our food and drinks came out very quickly. Definitely a great brunch spot to go to with friends.
Great Italian food and the wood-fired wings, as expected. Good choice for a group if you don’t mind the noise level.
Went for brunch. You can’t beat a meal and bottomless mimosas for less than $30! Food was very tasty.
The place is extremely noisy. After having made a reservation in advance we were still made to wait before we got our table which is right at the entrance where the wind was blowing through the main door! Upon request they did move us to better seats, but why couldn’t they do it upfront! The food was just below average, and the waitress had charged us for 2 bottles of wine instead of one that we had ordered! Clearly the place doesn’t care about quality of service! If you are looking for a drinking place then please visit but otherwise a NO NO NO!
The vibe at this place was super cool, as it got later it got much louder and we weren't by the bar. But we had a great time, definitely a cool place for a date night.
The food was phenomenal. But unfortunately the service was poor. The table spacing was extremely tight against the wall all white at a table barely big enough for one person while were trying to accommodate 2. We waited 5-10 minutes for our silverware before having to get up and get it ourselves. And we rarely had someone check in it was occasionally to get drunk refills after they sat empty for a while.
Carroll Place is a great place for brunch, sometimes the waiters kind of forget about the table and it's hard to grab their attention to get a refill, but they quickly appeared when they knew our brunch was over to hand us over a check.
They are super strict about ending your unlimited brunch drinks. Plan to stop drinking 20 mins before your 2 hours are up.
Carroll Place was great! The food was delicious but the ambience was even better. If you want to be able to chat and catch up with friends over dinner I recommend requesting a table on the 2nd floor or maybe on the first floor farther towards the back of the restaurant (away from the bar) since it was a bit loud (I was there on a Friday night). There’s also a table on the 2nd floor which I made a mental note to try and request for next time - it has a giant chandelier over it is just looks a little extra special! All in all a great combination of good food, great service, and good vibes.
It was beautiful, food was great, fun atmosphere, great bar too.
Charming atmosphere. Good food. Really excellent service. Staff seemed to really care about our dining experience.
First, they forgot to put our order in. They acknowledged this and gave us a free round of drinks. Fine. The drinks they brought were not the drinks we ordered. They were not full, and they were not terribly busy. It was late, though. The food they brought was good, not great. I dug the wings. There's much better pizza to be had in NYC, for both more and less money. It was cramped. It was loud. Yes, I know it was the Village, but still...
Very good food along with great ambiance. Went there with a couple of friends and we enjoyed everything about the restaurant. Will definitely come back. Thank you for having us!
Great Brunch spot. Was a fun atmosphere. 2 Hours bottomless drinks at a reasonable price. Wish the coffee was bottomless at ~$2.75/cup.
This was my second time at Caroll Place and I really like the vibrant ambiance in here and the food. It’s for sure bottomless mimosas.
Amazing food and lively ambiance; my parents were in town and made a point to say that they definitely want go back to Carrol Place for another meal, despite all the options available in NYC! True testament to satisfied customers.
Great place for brunch! Cannot beat the bottomless brunch drinks!
Lively vibes, good drinks and food at reasonable prices.
Change in management/hostess :(
It was delicious food but the noise level was
UNBEARABLE!! For that reason I would NEVER return, sadly. It’s a place for young people not elderly.
Amazing value for the bottomless brunch and delicious food!
They were out of the homemade tiramisu 😓 but otherwise good. The cote du rhone was good and the pasta was good. ..
Food and drinks were ok but the service Could have been better. We have waited more that 30 min for our table even though we had a reservation.
The best restaurant in the entire world!!!!!
We were seated promptly at a table on the upstairs level. I had requested a spot where the entire party would have a good view of the room and the hostess tried her best to accommodate us, but the way the tables are set up does not allow for that. Still, she did make note of the request and seated us in the best spot possible. The lighting is very dim, which made reading the menu difficult for three out of the four people in our group. I understand that the restaurant is trying to set a mood, but it would be nice to be able to see our food. The lack of light is actually a concern, because my water glass was dirty and my friend's appetizer plate had dried-up mozzarella cheese on it. Rather gross, indeed.
The waitress seemed distant and indifferent - she clearly would have preferred being elsewhere. The food runner grabbed our appetizer plates before we were completely finished using them and practically threw our entrées on the table. Also, one of the busboys grabbed my beer glass before I had finished drinking and we had to yell after him to bring it back. I don't really know why there was so much rushing around, because most of the tables were empty, so it shouldn't have been a problem.
The food was tasty, but it would have been nice if there had been better spacing between courses - the entire meal seemed rushed. As much as I enjoyed my foodthe and liked the look of the space, I don't think I will be returning anytime in the near future.
Carroll Place is definitely a good affordable brunch spot. The food was good but not amazing . Still worth going especially for the unlimited drinks! Great place to go with a group of friends.
Carroll Place has a great vibe for Sunday Brunch. The menu has plenty of options and bottomless 2 hours compliments nicely! Service was very good too.
Will definitely go back.
My party and I, as always, are treated like kings ( and queens...lol). Always a great experience. Will be back many times. Thank you!
Great atmosphere and fun experience for everyone at our table. Get the Nutella dessert ...you will not be disappointed!
Food was delicious, service was on point and music was great. Can’t wait to go back!
Came to bottomless brunch this past Sunday. Had a pretty good time (thanks to bottomless mimosas and rosé sangria). My food wasn't great. I got the eggs Benedict. It came on untoasted bread and literally one thin slice of prosciutto. It was bland, but there was no salt/pepper on my table. The server never came to check on us after we got the food, so I couldn't tell her. I ate all of my fries and left the entirety of the eggs Benedict and when she cleared my plate she didn't inquire as to why this was. Dessert calzone made up for the fact that I didn't get a full entree. So delicious and filling.
The service was fine. I am a server/bartender so I tend to be lenient and understanding. Our bottomless carafe stayed full for the first 1.5 hours of our bottomless. However, our server closed us out at 4:30 (our reservation was at 3, but we didn't start drinking until 3:15ish). I'm sure her shift was over and since we weren't ordering anything else to add to the tab, I can understand why she'd go head and close us out . Unfortunately she didn't inform any of the bussers and food runners that we still had 30 to 45 minutes left on our bottomless and our carafes never got refilled.
The atmosphere was awesome. Definitely a fun brunch spot but could have been better.
Phenomenal ambience, excellent drinks, and great food/price ratio. Excellent choice for a group dinner!
Amazing place to gather with friends for brunch! Very hip and reasonably priced !
The wait staff was very attentive to our party as we sat at a high top table in the middle of the restaurant. We went for a happy hour drink and some snacks. The pizza was ok a little soggy and could have had a little more flavor to the sauce. The rosemary wings were phenomenal and the fried calamari were good. The selection of wines for happy hour were not as extensive as I anticipated but the deal itself is good considering it is half off any house liquor and beer as well. It was loud and my father and uncle could not hear very well as the place got busier but it is expected in a lively bar
We loved the rustic ambiance of this restaurant! Our server was very attentive and pleasant and the food was great too. I would definitely recommend it!
Great wine selection and you can’t beat their happy hour!
I came here for brunch and booked a reservation. When I arrived they told me my reservation was only for 2 when open table clearly stated it was for 7. Our food was promptly served and drinks were continuously brought. But, then about an hour into our brunch they told me our bottomless beverages had ended even though we clearly had another hour left. I instantly made this aware that we still had an hour left but they stated it was the time our reservation was made. Well...our reservation had been made for 11:30 and they had thought it was made for 11. I would not even suggest making a reservation because they clearly don’t have adequate technology to ensure that you time and number of guests are promptly accounted for. The food was good and the prices were decent. The service was something that definitely could be improved.
