   One of our favorite spots in Indy however it’s criminal the toast and jam is gone. I’m having to explain to my wife why it’s off the menu like it was my decision.

   Been coming here for years and always loved it. Our servers have always been amazing but there have been 2 times we had the server named Mike and he has always had a very uncomfortable attitude. Last night we had a reservation booked for my girlfriend’s birthday and put this in our reservation notes. We unfortunately had Mike again and he was extremely rude even though we are always more than considerate of anybody we interact with. I assumed most people would have similar common sense but with him I guess not. We only know his name because the hostess told us it; he approached our table only to very rudely say to us “Entrees? Drinks?” with a demeanor that very clearly showed us he was for some reason not wanting to be there or even try to attempt to be nice even despite our warmth and kindness. He didn’t speak any other words the rest of our dinner until it came time to pay. Maybe he was having a bad night, regardless he was extremely rude and my girlfriend left in tears because we were VERY clearly made to feel like he didn’t want to deal with us. It’s beyond me why he acted this way; we tipped him well and just left unable to celebrate anything related to a birthday. We don’t want anything we just want to bring to the management’s attention that this server Mike is very disrespectful and honestly nasty to tables for absolutely no reason. Never have we been approached in such an uncomfortable way, let alone treated as if we weren’t worthy of being in his presence the entire dinner. For again I cannot stress this enough- no reason other than he was most likely just having a bad night for his own reasons. Really unpleasant and unfortunate.

   Union 50 is a favorite of ours, but it’s been awhile. Shout out to Braxton for great service and making sure we had a great experience.

   The staff and food at Union 50 was wonderful! Celebrated my birthday with my parents and was very impressed by the handwritten card at the table when we arrived. This is has been one of our favorite restaurants in Downtown Indy. We will be back!

   Four entrees: four delicious, flavorful, well prepared meals. Service was aggressively but pleasantly presented. Ambiance was comfortable and relaxing. Definitely will return.

   Had a wonderful evening celebrating a birthday. Great restaurant design and decor. Not super crowded at this time. Staff was very attentive throughout our time there and gave good suggestions on the items they were familiar with. Menu offered a good variety with some unique combinations. Food and drink orders came out quickly. The visual presentation of the food was fantastic and tasted great as well. A few items werr a little higher priced than expected, but overall good value for the experience.
