Chokhi Dhani London
As well as highlighting dishes from this ancient princely state, with its widely revered royal cuisine, the restaurant features dishes from across the subcontinent, whose textures and flavours ensure an immersive and multi-sensory experience.
On the ground floor diners can enjoy a street food concept, where the chilled mood counter balances the more regal ambience upstairs.
Chokhi Dhani also celebrates local culture through its collection of bespoke, handcrafted artworks, spearheaded by an awe-inspiring life-size bronze elephant.
With an aspiration to serve not merely food, but culinary art that pleases the taste buds and touches the soul, Chokhi Dhani changes the way we view Indian food.

very good food and quiet place. good ambience and service. service should be quicker
If you want a curry go elsewhere. So expensive and zero spice even by English curries!
We have been to Chokhi Dhani several times and never been disappointed. This is stylish Indian cuisine in a really lovely setting.
Magician was amazing!
Food good but it was fifty minutes between our reaching our table and receiving our first course. Not to be recommended for people in a hurry. Pleasant staff very apologetic.
An awesome addition to the neighborhood. Great service.
Fantastic find in Battersea. Will return.
Reaaly has Great
Amazing service by all the staff, even the chef came out to talk to all the customers eating.
As always, fantastic food , had the same vegetarian thali as last time but some of the dishes were different. Still have plenty of choice left to try out.
To cap it all had a fantastic end to the meal and privileged to have the magic show at the table ! 😀
Super ambiance and great food. However as it’s place that touts itself as a leading exponent of Rajasthani food, I personally would have liked someone to explain the food more. The servers could barely pronounce the dishes and when the thalis were served, did not explain how some of the foods needed to be eaten. One of the chefs was making the rounds later, and we were then explained the order in which the foods needed to be eaten, etc.
Missed the magician, who only comes in on Thursday and Friday but otherwise great food and great service. Saturday tends to get busy so be prepared to wait. The Maharaja and Maharani thalis were really tasty with a varied combination of stuff. Highly recommended. Go on Thu or Fri to see the magician - he is amazing!
We went in for lunch (for my birthday) when there was only one or two other parties in, the service was great and very friendly and helpful. I had the paneer with 3 types of spinach for my main - it was beautifully presented and so tasty. Also had a really lovely dessert. It's pricier than most Indian restaurants I've been to so definitely one for a special occasion rather than casual meal. I will be back!
Only feedback would be that it would have been nice to have got a little candle in my dessert or free drink or something since they knew it was my birthday, would have made the meal extra special.
Really fabulous food, fantastic customer service lovely touch from the manager introducing himself at our table. Highly recommend ... Battersea needed a new great food Indian restaurant.
"It was a gem of a place- loved the traditional Rajasthani decor and the relaxed feel of this place.
The choices were great -and in not being able to decide what to order - i went for the cope out and ordered a traditional Rajasthani Veg thaali. My guest decided to try the meat thaali . Food was great loved the paneer and dumpling curry while the soup had me guessing for the ingredients!
Definitely will need to return and work my way through the menu to try more dishes. Service was excellent -timed and friendly and very informative. Highly recommend this place for a regional Indian cuisine that you will not find in your local curry house."
Authentic Indian experience in an upscale setting. The magician Magic Junior was amazing.
Third time there. Amazing experience
Very nice food and service
Beautiful decorations and atmosphere
The food is so yummy
I came twice and it was really so delicious
Great food. Delighted to have a place in London that serves authentic Rajasthani food... and in true fine dining style. Can’t wait to go again!
Ambience is very good.. They can make there thali dishes little spicy as it was bit bland.
They got some amazing desserts . Mocktails are very refreshing. Starters were good.
The food is quite mild but what let me down was that the flavours were not coming through the dishes.
Excellent restaurant. Food was authentic and tasty. An authentic ambience with great decor. Cocktail bar downstairs was great for after dinner drinks.
Overall good experience, good be better in service and ambience. Won’t go back in a hurry.
We had a booking for 6:30, due to an early flight, but a later booking was unavailable, which was quite clear why, as the place filled up soon after our arrival. The food is "nouvelle Indian" in very clean, modern surroundings, with an emphasis on flavour as opposed to spiciness. If your preference runs to the spicy side, be sure to ask for a side of chili flakes or chili paste, as the kitchen pre-makes their sauces and we were told that it was not possible to order a custom spice level.
The house cocktails on offer were very good - mine (the Betelita) had a bit of a spicy kick to it. The concept for the menu is shared dishes, we enjoyed everything, from the Chat right through to the Baingan Bartha (aubergine ash, cumin, green chili) and the Maharaja Thali - delicious! Our dessert was a special selection of their dessert offerings, on a plate specially prepared for us (it was our anniversary).
The restaurant also has a few fun surprises, which we thoroughly enjoyed: Magic, Jr., a very accomplished illusionist and sleight of hand artist, and Kerin, a henna artist, who created an absolutely lovely and very intricate piece of art on my wife's hand. In all, a lovely, unique and unexpected treat. Highly recommended!
Excellent food especially the Rajasthani Thali was a delight. Reasonable to the pocket. Excellent decor and service.
Great food. Tastes authentic
Overall very good - food good, nicely presented. Service good.
It is a regional Indian cuisine-Rajasthani. Loved it! Our waiter was Frankie and he did a great job. My husband had the maharaja thali (non-veg) and I had the maharani thali (veg). We had some food left over, so more than enough in a thali. Great value especially with soft launch 20% off food. My husband also had the chaiwalla cocktail ( vodka) and it was awesome. Surely go again.
