Absolutely fantastic, I got a wider table with better light to celebrate birthday with my husband. They even gave us an extra dessert. Food quality is great as usual, just the marinated meat can be less salty.

Overall a fun and sociable dining experience. Wasn’t wowed by the actual quality of the food and disappointed that half the drinks we tried to order and the s'more that were part of the set menu were unavailable.

Greasy table surface and laminated menus. The grill had only on-off switch and unable to adjust the heat, hence quickly burnt meat and seafood, that caused sticky grill for the next batch of ingredients to cook. Need more ventilation in the restaurant when it gets busy, it got very smokey everywhere. Dessert ice cream did not taste right. The worst of all, being rushed to leave even before an allocated hours finished – started clearing the grill and drain pan while we were still eating our dessert, and the bill arrived without asking. Really poor service for obligatory gratuity at 12.5% of bill. Not worth for money.

Kintan is an interesting take on Japanese food, combining a less usual menu with the concept of the old Mongolian Brasserie i.e. you have a fire per table on which you cook the food. This can be quite fun, and is good for participation and conversation. The cost is fair, but the food is underwhelming- thin strips of meat or vegetables (necessary to make them cookable by you) mean that flavours and textures are limited.

Seating took 10 Minutes from entry of the restaurant. Host was friendly. Table was spacious and wide so great for larger orders. Our waitress was rude and didn’t know anything about the iteams on the menu. I was looking for some suggestions but she was clueless. Food arrived at the table fast. Overall good vibes and nice food.

restaurant kicked us out after around an hour. booking was for 90 minutes. waiter tried to lie implying time was up and when that failed manager just told us to leave. grill didnt get wiped down once during meal so food was covered in soot towards the end. veg wasnt fresh.

Drinks were not fizzy, requested a new batch and second time around was even worse. Food all tasted the same in terms of flavour, Season was off, either not any at all or way to over powering on some dishes Value for money not happy with the price I paid in comparison to what was present to the table

Very poor service which ruined the experience. They repeatedly put the bill on the table without us asking, before we had even ordered dessert! They rudely explained they needed the table back, but we had been there less than an hour and had booked a table of 4 well in advance. We asked to have the service charge taken off which clearly angered them further and the waiter was rude and sulky. Overall we left feeling very uncomfortable.

The chicken was so tender and probably the best i have ever tasted. The experience on a whole was amazing, and a unique outing. I absolutely loved it and will defiently be going back there again and the food was reasonable aswell with quick service

First: The food was ok. We sat i a little booth in an extremely strong draft of the ventilation system. It was uncomfortable and really cold. We ordered cocktails for starters, they never arrived. Got still water despite ordering sparkling. Cancelled our cocktails when we were done eating just to get out of the cold. Never again.

The food is always great there, only problem this time was that I had booked for a big group of 8 people and we were sat at one of the 2 tables on the ground floor, so the service didn’t come as often as when you are on the lower ground floor where all the other tables are. The music was also a bit too loud for our liking and the grill wasn’t changed at any point during our meal when it got too dirty.
