We love Wood Tavern and make a point to always dine there when we are in town from Florida where we live (typically for Cal games or other alum events). As always the food is excellent, particularly their famous pork chop. And the wait staff are top notch as well. Where they fell short last night was in getting our entree out - it took an hour and 45 minutes (6p reservation, entree arrived at 7:45pm.). And when it finally did, it really wasn't hot. Hopefully that was just an isolated incident, as we love everything else about Wood Tavern.

Everything was delicious, the service was fantastic (a bit slow, but we were not in a hurry and it was a Friday night and the place was packed, so...). The seafood stew was a bit bland, but everything else we ordered in our group was delectable and memorable. Always a good time at Wood Tavern!

The noise level was a bit much at lunch but the food was fabulous! This was a first time going to the Wood Tavern. We had a burger, seafood stew, bucatini bolognese, all were very tasty. I had the roasted pork sandwich which was the best of them all. Wonderful combination of flavors, my wife keep wanting bites of my sandwich. Definitely going back

The Wood Tavern is a great restaurant for any type of celebrations. This was my second visit and I love it. The food and drinks are amazing. Service is excellent allowing to time to relax look at the menu and make your selections without be rushed. The waiters consistently check on you to make sure your needs are met.

The WILD mushroom gnocchi stood out among the amazingly delicious dishes. Pork chop was popular for good reasons - juicy, tender, substantial, flavorful, a showstopper as presented.

Our lunch was very good quality and our server extremely pleasant. We enjoyed the food and preparation. This restaurant is my favorite "go to" when I want to treat a friend to lunch or dinner. Make sure to have a reservation.

The brussel sprouts, goat cheese, gnocchi, chicken and pork chops were outstanding. Outstanding, a word that rarely passes my lips regarding food. The food is saucy which suits me perfectly. The table where we were seated was a bit noisy, the tables in our area were just a bit close together. The service was patient and flawless. We will return soon.
