A lovely restuarant in a cul de sac that is slightly off the beaten track but easily accessed.
The staff are welcoming and friendly.
The gnocchi starter was a meal in itself. It had a small amount of smoked salmon - but enough to taste.
The sea bass was fresh, seasoned well and cooked perfectly.
Overall an enjoyable experience.
Birthday Brunch with a bunch of friends. Really lovely room and staff were delightful!
Without a doubt of all the fine Pimlico/Belgravia restaurants The Jones Family is serving the most fabulous meat any carnivorous diner could desire. My companion and I both selected the sirloin steak which beautifully sourced and impeccably prepared. As a bonus our starters (scallops/octopus) were also exceptional. Memorable experience.
Food and services were excellent. Location was great.
Very enjoyable lunch, great food and good wine selection
This is the second time I've been to the Jones Family Kitchen. The first time, I was blown away by the food - and this time it was even better. They've also ironed out little problems with the service. We shared some sourdough bread, olives and courgette fries to start. Then had heavenly mains. Two of us had a the beef rump, which was amazing, and the truffle macaroni was out of this world. My vegetarian friend had cauliflower rice - which (one tiny niggle) he would have loved to have been warm.
Great lunch set menu. Fabulous wine. Beautiful surroundings. Very much off the beaten track but well worth it.
Came here pre theatre for a quick meal following online recommendation. You can choose between pre-theatre menu or a la carts. Drink-wise, you can choose from wine, ales, beers or cocktails so good choice. My fish was excellent but beware, servings are not large so if you have a big appetite, you might be disappointed.
The meat quality is truly amazing. The ambience is young and elegant. Perfect for a dinner out!
The size and scope of the menu was fairly disappointing overall. Online they advertise a decent, dedicated vegan menu, but upon arrival, the vegan menu given to us was far more limited (missing items that featured on the online version.) Added to this, there were a number of dishes on the vegetarian and vegan menus that they had run out of or were 'finished'. This left our choices extremely limited - our 3 vegetarian and vegan diners had a tough choice between charred cauliflower and cauliflower rice. Given the increasing varied diet Londoners, and the growing demand for non meat based meals - this menu felt a way behind and definitely needs to evolve to meet differing needs.
Furthermore, the 'charred cauliflower' dish, with lettuce and beans was priced at £15 (!)
This is basically the same price as a steak - which for two cooked vegetables and a handful of beans - is obviously fairly disappointing.
excellent lunch time choice, quiet yet trendy hidden away, worth finding, set menu excellent value, great service,
Lovely restaurant close to Victoria station. We went for the pre-theatre set menu before going to see Hamilton. Our table was booked for 5:30 and we had three courses in plenty of time to get to the theatre. The pre-theatre set menu is excellent value for money and all of the food was delicious. The staff were also extremely pleasant and friendly.
The food and service are great. The edgy concept is a great addition for Belgravia BUT the person who chose the wallpaper and star mirrors - which would not look out of place in a country tea shop - should find another profession. Ruins the ambience of at least half of the space. Please re decorate and use someone who understands a younger central London look in 2018!
A wonderful new restaurant and bar hidden away next to Barry Boot Camp near Victoria coach station. Owners have a similar restaurant in Shoreditch so know exactly how to be fabulous
My partner and I had a pre-theatre meal here. The service was exceptionally good. Really enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant. The food was very good indeed, so good we ended up having the full 3 courses. Portions were the right size for pre-theatre, i.e. not too big but doesn't leave you wanting. Pricing was very reasonable, and the happy hour passion fruit daiquiris were a real highlight of the night!
We both went to see Hamilton that night and said we wanted to see it again. If we do we will DEFINITELY eat at the Jones Family Kitchen again.
Love the menu. Fantastic steaks. Beautiful outdoor sun trap for basking even on cold days. Great relaxed atmosphere for any occasion.
Booked for a get together and after seeing the great reviews. Was not disappointed, the food was great value, service attentive and lovely atmosphere. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for a lovely evening.
The pre-theatre menu was Really good value. Lovely food and v friendly and efficient staff. It has a really lovely atmosphere.
Steak Tartare is fantastic, very good wine list and knowledgeable staff. Lovely decor and surprising sheltered terrace outside.
Very poor service - hard to get a waiter’s attention. We were also served a cheaper wine than we asked for but charged for the more expensive one.
One of the best new London restaurants we have been to for a long time. Great food cooked superbly and served unfussily, nice range of wines, interesting setting, reasonably priced menu and friendly but not over-attentive service. A wonderful find in an area of London not otherwise very well served by good restaurants.
Food and service were brilliant but it was quiet - although we were there on a Tuesday night,
Very good food in a quiet enclave off Eccleston Street more known for coaches turning down the street.
It has a lovely courtyard and the the Jones Family restaurant comes off that,
Nice place, nothing pretentious, four of us: slightly off-piste start when three wanted gazpacho as per menu, but the kitchen had run out. The (hot) pumpkin soup substitute went well though. Steak and cod main courses all good, and desserts went well too. Have eaten there once before and would go again.
I went for the Sunday Roast menu they offer. It is excellent, as the cut of the meat that comes with the roast is top quality. Moreover, the set menu even included a glass of house wine (or beer), which is a plus. The pumpkin soup I had as a starter was really tasty, and the dessert afterwards too. Will definitely come back.
I had a wonderful Sunday lunch, good food and generous portions in very comfortable surroundings, a real hidden gem.
It’s ok but nothing really to bring us back for a repeat experience. It was adequate, friendly enough but lacked attention to detail such as no condiments offered, roast potatoes were missing, it wasn’t super busy so needs to up the anti for customer service
On Sundays they just have a Sunday Roast menu and the servings were enormous and off-putting for me. The food was lukewarm but it tasted of good quality. The all- inclusive price including a glass of wine was good value in this neighbourhood but I would have preferred one dish from the a la Carter menu.
I expect some people are never pleased!
Excellent staff - a pleasant dinner - would go back for every day dining
We were there for a pre theatre meal - all was good if a little bit slow, especially as there weren’t many in the dining room. The food was excellent and staff personable. This was our first visit so I can’t recommend anymore. However I will go back.
Great find, came across this restaurant via Trip advisor and what a great one to trip over
Great value Lunch Set Menu, two courses for £14.50. I had the chilli squid followed by the bavette steak, which was cooked perfectly to specification (medium rare) and came with good, crispy, evenly-salted fries and a peppercorn sauce. Refreshingly, I was also offered a choice of English and/or Dijon mustard too, something which is all-to-often lacking in restaurants offering steak on the menu.
Simple stuff, but done well. Will definitely go back.
Great looking restaurant with excellent service, very good fillet
An excellent restaurant in very pleasant atmosphere. It was difficult to find so maybe a sign at the beginning of Eccleston Place would be useful. Value for money was exceptional and the food was of a very high standard.
Great food, good service, nice location.
A good little find - would benefit from having more bars etc open in the square as at the moment it’s the only place to go there for in the evening. Really good food - especially the steaks - have eaten here multiple times now - day and evening and have found the evenings to be too noisy and definitely not relaxing as the room doesn’t absorb noise at all well.
Otherwise very good value.
Table for three: quite quiet and still ‘smells slightly new’, all fine on the night. Menu oriented to red meat, good; one of us had fish, also good.
Had been earlier for dinner and liked our food more then - lunch for both my friend and I was just ok , nothing special. Staff was friendly.
The food and service is always consistently excellent.
The perfect gem of a restaurant, tucked away and serving delicious food and cocktails. Service is attentive but not imposing, and the decor quirky and amusing. Must try the octopus, New Zealand Pinot Gris ana not forgetting the bubble ana squeak cocktail!
