Very nice food but we’re a little rushed - sat down 8pm and by 10pm they were rushing us for dessert choices and setting up for breakfast

Very short staffed, the staff that were working were excellent, led well by Michael the Bar and Restaurant Manager, without his leadership it would have been an absolute disaster, far too many diners for 3 staff !!!!

Vegetables served separately would be a good idea instead of everything piled on plate . Carrots and broccoli were more than al dente -more suited to a salad. No one offered to take my coat nor could I find anywhere to hang coats. Bill folder arrived at my table badly stained and sticky! Plates vaguely warm -unfortunately not a good Mother’s Day experience.

Very disappointing and disgusted with our visit - i booked an afternoon tea as a treat for my mother. The sandwiches were not fresh seemed like they had been made a day before as the bread was stale. There was hardly any meet filling more like the fat of the ham. There were at least 15 blue bottle fly’s in the window by the table . One fly touched the food. We were going to ask for these to be replaced but could see other people in the restaurant having issues with flies also. There was also a mess under the table. We just had get out of there as it was grim and not a pleasant experience and did not expect this from this hotel.

Over all it was good, however, some of the fillings in the sandwiches at afternoon tea were a little lacking, especially the cream cheese and cucumber, not much of either of this in them. Also I would of preferred the television off and different music not pop music, maybe some classical or just instrumental. Staff were lovely and I would possibly return.

Was pleasantly surprised at how stunning the Tara Restaurant was. Lovely decor, accompanied by a fantastic view of the Malverns and a lovely, attentive waitress. Fantastic value for money afternoon tea for 2, evidently everything was homemade with a great selection of cakes and scones. However, I felt the sandwich fillings were lacking in flavour and appearance compared to the rest of the afternoon tea. Other than that minor detail, I would highly recommend.

I would recommend afternoon tea at Hatton Court only if they return to their previous standard of food.
This time the sandwiches were not fresh and the scones were tiny. Not up to usual standard.
I always recommend Hatton Court for afternoon tea but I’m not sure I will now.

Hotel has been very much improved with it's building alterations.
Opening the bar into previous reception area very good.
Front staff & waiting staff fine.
Food was poor, tough, undercooked & very ordinary.

Ttreated my 2 girls to Dinner Friday evening. Had been the previous Sunday for the roast Dinner. Alison the waitress was outstanding helpful professional and friendly. The meal was superb 1st class could not fault it in any way.
However the Friday dinner left me feeling very disappointed. My choice of Pollock and chips was grossly overpriced for something I could easily have in a local cafe! For a fiver!
Our server was Becky, she was friendly and helpful.
Very disappointed and grossly over priced!

If I’m honest I was disappointed with the food. I had read some good reviews so was a bit surprised how poor the food was. There was a big wedding on so this may have put the kitchen under pressure. Service was good but my steak and chips was greasy and the greenery on the plate wilted. Starter was ok but very small.

A friend and I had lunch which was good, but I thought the fish could have had something with it like the pesto topping I've had before. It needed a little more flavour in comparison with a previous lunch. The soup was delicious and the accompanying roll was fresh and lovely. For dessert I asked just for their raspberry sorbet and it was so good I could have eaten twice as much! We will certainly be visiting again.

The venue is lovely, the view from the main dining room is great although this time we ate in a smaller room off the bar without a view. The food was excellent and the staff very friendly and charming but the service itself was rather slow, hence the four stars and not five.
