Outstanding food, service and atmosphere! Will definitely be back!
An amazing culinary experience. Enjoyed every bit of it.
We went for a dinner on a week when they had a guest chef Dan Wilson. We booked the table however when we arrived the table was not ready, so we waited a little bit. We went for a full menu - “A little bit of everything” for £49 - and it took 50min to receive the bread&butter. The table who came 20 min after us was served before us, so I was wondering if they have forgotten about us or run out of bread?!
The food is a bit pretentious but not particularly tasty.
Straciatella and cured ham - were good.
Carrots with black bread - was interesting but I wouldn’t eat it again.
Pasta with roast drippings was absolutely bland.
Lamb ribs were a bit too over cooked / over fried.
I usually order a dessert every time but after the mains I had no desire to try anything more.
Came here last night with my partner and had a lovely time. The "one of everything"option was perfect for the two of us and at a really good price. Staff were informative and recommended a great wine! Will be back for sure. Thanks!
Delicious food and great service in an awesome setting. Menu is small but changes weekly and even has the option to order the whole menu which is great if you’re wanting to try it all. Will be back and would recommend to others.
Lovely meal from visiting chef. Service casual but friendly and I particularly enjoyed the Champetre by the glass.
We went for dinner and the food was very good. The setting and the feel of the restaurant / cafe is nice and relaxed which would've been perfect for a midweek meal. However, unfortunately the service by one waitress was extremely rude and it ruined the evening out for us. It's a massive shame as judging by the reviews across the internet this is not normally the case. I won't be going again or recommending it to others given the quality of other places in the vicinity.
The food was good, some of it was actually great (the pasta and the dessert)
The price is also good value.
The floor staff could be better, it took several minutes for them to acknowledge us although they saw us and the place is so tiny we were just standing in the middle of the entrance. When they tried to be friendly it was a bit forced and weird, almost as if they thought they were too cool to wait tables.
There was a large group hanging and drinking at the entrance and that made the place loud and noisy.
