Texture's style of cuisine is modern European with Scandinavian influences, and it focuses on combining and emphasising different consistencies, using British produce that is sourced from both the earth and sea combined with ingredients from Sverrisson's native Iceland – a concept to savour.
Texture Restaurant and Champagne Bar is housed in a beautifully restored Georgian building on Portman Square in the heart of Mayfair, and just minutes from Oxford Street. The main dining room seats 50 guests. Additionally, we can provide a private dining room, which is ideal for smaller parties who seek an experience of refined dining in privacy.

We went for the lunch menu but were tempted by the delicious tasting menu. Very nice meal with some novel components.
Out of this world! The set lunch menu was delightful. Serviced with great knowledge and smiles.
Excellent service even when we were late for the reservation on s Friday night
Very suprising and exzellent restaurant. We love this place and recommand texture as e great place to be. Kompliments to the chef and his whole crew!
An exceptional experience from the creative menu to the effortless and genuine service from the staff. I cannot recommend Texture highly enough.
Texture is a fantastic and underrated restaurant. I have tried the Clove Club while visiting London. Texture is considerably better.
The feedback is going to sounds quite picky, but given it is a Michelin starred restaurant that charges the prices that they do, I feel like it's probably ok. Food was quite good though some flavour combinations overwhelmed the underlying main ingredient (e.g. scallops). Wine by the glass selection is ok but not amazing and the somm is not as highly trained as one could expect. The service was somewhat patchy - potentially overwhelmed by a large private party? Last time I was there for lunch the experience was very different and I enjoyed everything immensely. My pet hatred was the cutlery. It was not appropriate for the crockery that they were using - spoons, forks etc, everything kept falling into the deeper plates /soup /sauce etc. Not cool. We did provide feedback before leaving but I'm not sure the waiter understood us or cared.
The room, with its lofty ceilings in a beautiful Georgian mansion building is lovely. The tables are well spaced to facilitate conversation and avoid being overheard or overhearing. The welcome was warm, great cocktails and good wine list, the service superb and friendly without being intrusive. The food is exquisite: we had the fish tasting menu and it was interesting and with a creative Scandinavian slant. All the dishes were beautifully presented and tasted great. We shall definitely go there again. It is not cheap, but That is what you expect when you go to a Michelin star restaurant.
Stunning entourage, top notch service and the food leave nothing else to be desired! It is far too expensive in general, but the lunch menu deal halves the bill and makes it ideal for impressing a romantic or business date!
May have been good a few years ago but lacks any wow factor now. Food was alright but not worth the money. Look elsewhere
This was a perfect night, the food was great and the service was excellent.
The whole experience of Texture, from entering the bar to eating in the dining area was truly pleasurable. The staff are welcoming, happy and helpful. The textures of food and plates and decor abound and the taste of the food was amazing. We had the fish tasting menu which we loved. Every morsel well thought out and beautifully married with everything on the plate. We will recommend and we will be back!
I loved it. Couldn’t begin to fault. The staff were so lovely I tipped them twice!
Outstanding food and service. I have nothing to pick on (and I'm very picky!). Not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Was there for lunch, and if we drank less wine, the bill would've been very reasonable.
Delicious blend of Asian flavours, fresh ingredients and interesting textures - outstanding service! The quail (starter) and lamb were juicy, cooked well and the highlights of the evening. The cod was great too but the best part of the dish were the fresh cherry tomatoes. Portions were just right and we never felt bloated. All in all a wonderful night out for a special occasion.
Take time to have a drink in the bar first, great staff, food was amazing, had the tasting menu, def worth a visit.
I came here on a Friday evening and everything was great. The service was impeccable, the atmosphere was spot on for the occasion (quiet enough to talk easily but still energetic and bubbly) and the food was really delicious. Really liked the Icelandic theme with a quirky Asian influence on top. Would 100% recommend to a friend and will definitely be going back.
"Very acceptable Michelin star ? Not sure about that,it's still very good,
Positive for the greeting when we walked in service was prompt and efficient,
I think so mum sister could've been a bit happier others were very polite,
On the downside I felt special occasion was not really celebrated or knowledge that match despite mentioning it a couple of times when I came in,to be offered a complimentary desert after finishing our deserts fell a bit short of what I expected ,The three course meal for lunch was very acceptable I don't mind meal was not piping hot I understand they don't have to be that hot but I did make comments about her and said nothing was done about it reference taking it off the bill or anything else not even a complimentary glass of wine or champagne for the special occasion as well, The three course meal for lunch was very acceptable I don't mind meal was not piping hot I understand they don't have to be that hot but I did make comments about her and said nothing was done about it reference taking it off the bill or anything else not even a complimentary glass of wine or champagne for the special occasion as well
We had not been here since a special graduation meal in 2012! Being in London again, we took advantage of their great value lunch offer which did not disappoint. Delightful staff who are friendly, helpful and attentive yet unobtrusive. The sommelier was totally helpful in confirming our choice of wine and not pushing a more expensive one. The overall experience is that this restaurant cares about the customer having a great experience. It is quiet enough for conversation, the food is beautiful to look at, delicious to eat, and with perfect surprises in flavour and texture.
Highly recommended and such s shame their annual closing in summer falls around my birthday. I might have to delay the celebration next year.
My first time at Texture, this is a world class dining experience from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave, wonderfully professionally. Do not hesitate to go here for a very special evening.
Service extremely attentive. Food was very well presented and creatively put together. A la carte menu was a bit small, but there are tasting menu options. A lot of choice on the wine list. Good for a special occasion.
My girlfriend and I greatly enjoyed the very tasty and very well priced lunch set menu at Texture. Stellar service, with complimentary amuse bouche at the beginning and petit fours at the end - really special dining experience.
Realy nice, creative cusine and with a great spiritous choice
Excellent service. Friendly staff - not over intrusive. Knowledgeable about the food and keen to share. We had the taster menus and were not disappointed. The deputy sommelier Quentin was superb and recommended an excellent choice of wine.
A fantastic, enjoyable experience. We are looking forward to hosting our works event at Texture later in the year.
Excellent meal and service from the staff at the restaurant and starting with champagne
Fantastic restaurant. Warm welcome on entry. Very attentive staff from start to finish. Good choice on menu. Food exceptional. Sommelier very knowledgeable and recommended a great choice for our tastes.
A friend recommended this place. We will definitely return
Very happy with our first visit to Texture. Super menu, just wasn’t quite brave enough his time for the Reindeer!! Maybe next time. Service was awesome too.
Tasting menu was excellent
Excellent service. Attentive staff and very good food !
It was my partner birthday and staff was really nice to us. We went for the tasting menu with pairing wine, and the textures were interesting and pretty good. We had a cocktail before and they served some crispies (pork skin, bread, some done with potato) that were really amazing. Wine selection was great. Cost is worth what it’s for. I’d recommend and I’d definitely go back. Ps: desert had pieces of Peruvian mango that really took me back home (which is Brazil). The smoked eel was amazing but could be bigger!
Very good service and taste！！Like it！
The waiter leaves us wainting in the table for more than 30 minutes. The table dont allow space for legs
Wow! Wine pairings especially good. Exceptional restaurant.
The food on the tasting menus is superb
Both the presentation and the flavours are outstanding
The staff were very attentive and even allowed us to exchange some dishes between the 2 different menus
The wine list offers an eclectic selection with a balanced mix of traditional and natural wines from all over the world
Fabulous lunch at texture. Excellent service and friendly staff with exceptional food and a great value lunch menu! Really enjoyed it and loved that is wasn’t stuffy like so many Michelin places. Loved it. And the added extras, petit fours, pre starter were a fabulous, unexpected delight
This was a return visit to Texture and we'd forgotten how good the food was here. We opted for the fish tasting menu and enjoyed every course. we ate early evening as we were on our way back to Hampshire so the restaurant wasn't busy. The staff were very knowledgeable as you'd expect from a restaurant of this standard and the whole experience was great. We'll certainly be back very soon as this is so good.
Very good food, creatively presented. Highly attentive service and staff knowledge on both the food and wine.
I am visitor from Hong Kong and happen to come across Texture Restaurant when I was looking for a place to dine with my friend in London. Have to say this is one of the best fine dining restaurants I have been to - food is nicely decorated, services was just perfect. My friend and I had a wonderful night there! Strongly recommend this one!
Superbe adresse en couple ou avec amis
We had a table for two, 6pm, on a Friday (straight from work). We had cocktails in the bar area, followed by the fish tasting menu in the restaurant.
From the very moment that we set foot inside, we were treated like royalty. The entire experience was amazing: the staff; the cocktails; the table; and the food.
We will most certainly be back soon, and would highly recommend a visit to Texture. Wow. Congratulations to all involved.
